"What?"

"Didn't you hear me? Your jacket, give it to me."

"Vanica. Who is this fool you've brought into our home?"

Seeing Zenon's grimoire leave its holster, Vanica giggled and took a step back.

"I wouldn't do that if I were you. Grim did beat me afterall."

Ignoring his sister's advice, the youngest of the Zogratis siblings stuffed his hands into his pockets and watched as the pages of his grimoire fluttered open.

'I've got to much to deal with today.'

'I'll end this quickly.'

[Bone Magic: Eternal Fangs]

*WHOOSH!!*

*WHOOSH!!*

*WHOOSH!!*

Bursting out from his body, countless numbers of elongated bones tore through the air with the sole aim of skewering Grim's body.

"Heh."

Facing the onslaught of endless bone projectiles, Grim's hands remained in his pockets as he activated the spell most appropriate for this situation.

[Breath of the Beast: 10th Fang - Whirling Fangs]

Activating this spell, the bones crashed in a circular wall of high speed spinning beast aura and were shaved down into a fine powder.

Frowning at the sight of his bones being shredded before his very eyes, Zenon glanced at his sister only to see her looking at him with a "I told you so" expression. 

"...60%"

Going straight into 60%, his devil power exploded forth.

"Oh?" Grim muttered seeing the two horns appear on his head.

But just like with his sister, 60% alone wasn't enough to faze him.

"I didn't even know he could do this." Vanica muttered after seeing Grim use a spell that she hadn't seen before.

"Looks like he was holding back on us even more than we thought." Megicula's words echoed in her head as she too watched the skirmish with interest.

Seeing that his attacks were just as ineffective as they were before, the frown on Zenon's face deepened.

"70%"

Raising his devil power even further, he activated another spell in conjunction with [Eternal Fangs].

[Spatial Magic: Spatial Mana Domination]

Encapsulating the corridor in a cube-like subspace, he forcibly took control of all the mana in the area and made it hard for Grim to conjure any spells.

Along with the activation of this spatial magic spell, his previous bone projectiles began manifesting around Grim from all directions.

'Its over.'

Feeling his connection with the surrounding mana become hazy, Grim was reminded of the time he spent training in the grand magic zone.

*Grins*

"Not bad scrub, but-"

Activating the mana in his blood, his elf form made its appearance more again.

"It's not good enough."

*BOOOOOM!!!*

Compressing and expanding the mana in his body in a volatile manner, a shockwave powerful enough to shake the entire castle exploded out of his body breaking the subspace and throwing Zenon backwards.

'What in the name of-

"Eyes up!"

Seeing the tip of a sword moments away from piercing the soft goo that was his eye, Zenon's mind went blank.

*WARP!!*

Activating his spatial magic at the last minute, Zenon narrowly managed to escape by creating a portal behind him.

*RUMBLE!!*

"What the hell is going on up there?"

-Hidden Resistance Safe House-

"Your highness!"

Dropping down to one knee, a grey haired old man showed his respect the the former queen of the Spade Kingdom; Ciel Grinberryall.

"Reports just in, an unknown boy was seen entering the castle with the she-devil."

"A boy?... What are those heretics up to now?"

'How is this possible?!'

"No need to think so hard about it."

Standing in the middle of another cube-like subspace, Grim stared at the 80% devil power using Zenon with a disdainful smile on his face.

"After-all, you're not weak. I'm Just Far Stronger."

Hearing the words that he had said to Yuno back in the Clover Kingdom being thrown back in his face, this became one of the rare occassions where he lost his cool. Losing that calm facade, the entirety of the internal subspace was covered with an untold number of protruding bones all closing in on a grinning Grim.

[Eternal Fangs] + [Spatial Mana Domination]

D.E.A.T.H

"Heh."

Facing the incoming bones, time seemed to slow to a crawl as Grim's [Hyper Focus] kicked in. Locking onto every bone projectile in the area, the corners of his curved even higher as his lips parted.

[Breath of the Beast: 5th Fang - Crazy Cutting]

Seconds later, everything changed.

Even Megicula, the almighty devil of curses couldn't find the words to describe what she had just witnessed.

Walking out of the shattered space, Grim's footsteps echoed off the corridor walls as the once pristine hallway was now covered in deep gashes.

As for Zenon... He was down on his knees. With arms hanging limply by his side, his devil wings had been severed and his entire body was covered in lacerations and blood oozed out of every pore.

"Like I said." Grim grinned looking down at him. "You're just not good enough."

Raising his head, Zenon took a complete look at the smiling Grim. And for the first time in his life he realized that a devil's power wasn't absolute.

"Why... *grits teeth* Why can't I beat you!"

Looking down at Zenon, the smirk on Grim's face brightened up. Crouching down as to meet him at his level, he simply said.

"Because *GRINS* its the one with the sharpest fangs that wins."
