IMPERIAL EDICTS

Titus didn't wait for long before he dropped another bomb and shocking news before the people with puzzled expression could even come to their senses.

"I will now degree the following names and their position, anyone who disagrees can step forward" Titus said in cold challenging voice as if waiting for anyone to come forward.

"WHAT!!!!!"

Everyone was once again more shocked than the previous news, most of them their voices were filled with unwillingness and extreme indications, when one had the taste of power how could one just let it go, however the the emperor had already used the word "degree" meaning their is no going back.

Some were just from feeling elated a while ago since the emperor had added more positions with authority powers, suddenly some of them had their dream land of power busted before they could even make it, others were already thought of how to make bribes or offer their precious treasures, however now it's seamed not to be a possible situation if the emperor choose for himself the people to be on those positions.

Although they were unwilling, their is nothing they can do to salvage the opportunity, unless being chosen.

Titus didn't acknowledge their unwillingness or give in to their desires to object,

"what do they think, trying to surbbotage the ranks while am still breathing hmph "

it's not that Titus didn't want to listen to them or their opinions, he was just trying to prevent the people from promoting themselves.

Titus passed the list of names he had already drafted and the position of each individual to eunuch Stanford to start giving out the imperial edict .

Eunuch Stanford stepped forward and received the degree from the emperor, after a bow he faced the audience in the hall "Those whose names will be called should step forward and receive the degree"

The list continued forward for at least an hour and more names were called to receive the degree, almost everyone felt elated inside while some pressured or anxious but never showed those expressions, everyone kept a calmness attitude and got down on their knees to show that they have received the imperial edict.
