Reborn As The Villainess's Knight

Reinhardt, in his past life, he was a student who was brutally murdered. However, he had been reborn as the Knight of The Villainess from a Novel he had once read. In his last life, he didn't accomplish anything, in fact, the most notable thing he had ever done was killing his murder. But now, he had another chance. And this time, he was going to survive no matter what. Armed with the Heart of a God and knowledge from the novel he had once read, he would make sure to survive, and trample over anyone who sought to take what was his. *** I dont own the cover art, just smt I found on Pinterest I think. Let me know if you're the owner and want it down. This is my second novel, so you can expect an above average quality of writing. There will be romance but it'll be gradual, and he won't be dense or anything since that would be annoying. The MC might be a tad bit insane at times, and he won't be OP immediately. But he won't be losing too often. Anyways, enjoy! And check out my other novel, The Child Soldier's Reincarnation if you like my style of writing. Upload schedule: As of now, daily but I'll take a one day break whenever I need it.

Chapter 64 - Heresy Inquisitor [2]

"You're the one who killed the contractee, huh? I think you're capable of it, but that begs the question, how'd you know you know they were a contractee?"

Then, the Inquisitor flicked their finger against my sword, knocking it out of my hands.

"Ah..."

'With a finger flick? How unfair. I'm using Arcane Enhancement on top of Blood Strength and his output is still that much higher than mine?'

The Inquisitor chuckled to themselves, glancing at the headmaster who could only sigh.

"Just don't kill the boy, legally, I can't stop you since your suspicions aren't unreasonable. But, if you do kill him, then I'll be annoyed."

'What suspicions..?'

"Ah, you don't get it, do you, kid? What we're saying is that I suspect you're also a contractee."

'Now why the hell would they assume that?'

Dissapearing from my sight, the Heresy Inquisitor reappeared, and slammed their fist into my stomach. However, just before their fist contact with my body, I used Blood Manipulation to use my 'Blood Armour' technique.

The solidified blood fell to the floor with a quiet thud after shattering upon impact.

"Your body, it's tough. And, you don't seem to consider the possibility of needing to dodge."

I gritted my teeth, the opponent I was facing was outrageous for my current level. Their speed and power were many leagues greater than my own, their skill was likely to be on a different plane, and a Heresy Inquisitor has several years of combat experience at the minimum in most situations. And, if they didn't have extensive experience, they had the talent to do well without it.

'Seriously, I'm getting tired of fighting people. And, I also don't think I can do very much against this guy without using either of my trump cards.'

Then, I reeled my fist back, turning my hips I drove my fist into the Inquisitor's stomach. But, my fist never met it's mark, the Inquisitor had side stepped to dodge my attack.

"That's some crazy strength for a child, though it won't help you against me."

I felt the Heresy Inquisitor grab my wrist, then they tugged me forward causing me to lose my balance. And then, before I could even react, I felt my body lift off the ground.

I was being thrown.

My back crashed into the ground, causing a crater to form beneath me. The shock travelled through my body and to my internal organs, causing me to lose my breath.

Gasping for breath, I used my Arcane Magic to heal any damage done to my internal organs.

'What the hell? I didn't even realise I was getting thrown till I was on the ground. What even was that, judo?'

Then, I saw the Inquisitor raise their leg, preparing to stomp my body further into the ground.

I knew I wouldn't I wouldn't be able to dodge it in time, nor would I be able to block it, not with two hands anyways.

And so, I used it once more, the Mana Art I had only recently invented.

"Mana Art, Asura State."

Speaking the name of your Mana Art typically helped in using it. Having an audio cue helped solidify the image of what you wanted to do. Mana Arts tended to be more abstract used of regular Magic, so incantations were commonly used. These incantations were especially useful in battlefields where taking a moment to think could lead to your demise.

And with that, a new set of arms grew from my torso, tearing through my clothes. As the Heresy Inquisitor's foot crashed down, my four arms blocked the blow. The blow was powerful however, the attack immediately broke the bones in all four of my arms.

'I need space to work with..'

Then, I shot out a massive wave of blood, causing the Inquisitor to dash back, leaving me with room and the time to finally stand up.

"Four arms? Well, I suppose that explains the contractee's butchered body, and there's that Blood Manipulation I've heard so much about... By regenerating, you have a near infinite supply of blood to manipulate. It's essentially just a superior version of Water Magic when it comes to combat.

Without replying, I willed the formless blood to turn into swords and hurled them at the Inquisitor. The Inquisitor dodged, and deflected the ones which were unavoidable with relative ease.

"Come on, show me all you've got."

And with that, I blasted away into a wall, not even understanding what hit me.

'Fine. It doesn't matter if they see, not anymore.'

"Ignition..."

Uttering my chant once, the entire room began to heat up as my body changed and power coursed through me. Regenerating, I got up and prepared another volley of blood swords.

But, to my surprise, the Heresy Inquisitor was kneeling.
