When Talent Meets Hard Work!

(3rd Person Pov) 

Sirzechs witnessed the fight between the two boy's with quirks of similar nature, he smiled in amusement as he watched the two boy's go blow for blow against one another screaming their hearts out. 

Kirishima: "THAT DIDN'T HURT!" 

Kirishima then sent a right hook striking his opponent Tetsu-Tetsu who screamed back. 

Tetsu-Tetsu: "THAT DIDN'T HURT AS WELL YOU BASTARD!" 

After a few more minute's of brawling against one another, the two of them sent one last punch to the others face knocking both of them out at the same time as President Mic spoke excitedly. 

President Mic: "Midnight! What's the final verdict?! Who's the winner?!" 

Midnight walked onto the stage as she inspected both boys as she declared. 

Midnight: "Both students are knocked out! This match is a draw! The outcome of this match will be decided following the end of the first round via an arm wrestling contest!" 

Everyone cheered in excitement as the two boy's were taken away by the medical bots and some of the no named heroes spoke amongst each other. 

No Name Hero 1: "That match between the two boy's was increadible to watch. The passion in their attacks truly was increadible. I'd love to have kids like them as sidekicks. They definitely have a bright future ahead of them."

The other no named heroes agreed as Midnight announced the competitors for the following match. 

Midnight: "For the next match! We have Uraraka Ochaco versus Bakugo Katsuki! Both students from class 1-A! I'm excited for the outcome of this upcoming match."

When Midnight announced the names of both competitors, Bakugo just looked irritated as he pondered. 

Bakugo: 'Who the fuck is that bitch?' 

Meanwhile when Uraraka heard her name being announced as the one going up against Bakugo, her face turned pale in fright as he r classmates looked at her worried if she will be alright as she made her way to the stadium. Whilst walking the hallways to reach the stadium, she met up with her friends Midoriya and Ida. 

Midoriya: "Uraraka-San. Would you like to take a look at the notes I made on how best to use your quirk to beat Ka-chan? It should be very useful for your fight against him." 

Uraraka smiled gratefully to Midoriya for his worry, and for wanting to try and help her out, but she smiled resolutely as she spoke. 

Uraraka: "Thank you Deku-Kun. But I want to fight against Bakugo myself."

Both Midoriya and Ida looked shocked at Uraraka's word's as Ida questioned her sanity. 

Ida: "Forgive me for my rudeness Uraraka-San, but you are aware that the person you are about to go up against is none other than Bakugo right? Setting aside the sheer versatility and power of his quirk, he's been praised to be a combat genius. Are you sure you want to go up against him blind?"

Uraraka: "Thanks for the vote of confidence Ida-Kun."

Uraraka spoke dejectedly. Her tone hollow as Ida scratched the back of his head in embarrassment as Uraraka snapped out of her miserable state and spoke. 

Uraraka: "I want to fight and beat Bakugo on my own terms. If I defeated him using the strategy you've come up with Deku-Kun, I don't think I'd be able to consider it my win."

Midoriya: "I see. Then, we won't hold you any longer. Goodluck Uraraka-San! We're all gonna root for you!" 

Uraraka: "Thanks Deku-Kun."

And with those word's, Midoriya and Ida left her alone to prepare herself as she thought.

Uraraka: 'Your amazing Deku-Kun. Your constantly improving yourself. During the cavalry battle, I thought it'd be better to work alongside a friend I knew and trusted, but instead, now I think that I was moreso relying upon you. And when Ida-Kun said he was challenging you, I became embarrassed for myself. That's why, I can't accept using the strategy you came up with. Everyone's working hard to their future, and so. I want to meet you in the final rounds!'

Uraraka then walked to the outside of the hallways where she took a deep breath and stepped onto the arena ring and came to look Bakugo directly in his eyes. 

Bakugo's eyes narrowed slightly as he spoke. 

Bakugo: "Listen here round face. I'll give you just this one chance. Leave the ring. Because if you believe that I won't hit you just because your a girl, your bound to be very surprised. Because these hands are rated E for Everyone."

Uraraka looked at Bakugo in surprise as she smiled slightly and spoke. 

Uraraka: "You know Bakugo-Kun. I never realised you were capable of kindness, turns out I was wrong." 

Uraraka saw Bakugo scowling in annoyance when her face turned serious as she spoke. 

Uraraka: "As for stepping out of this ring, I'm afraid I can't do that. To step out of this ring is to turn my back on all the hardwork I've put into training myself for this day."

Bakugo: "Your hardwork means nothing in the face of talent round face."

Uraraka: "There's a famous saying I heard in the past. Talent beats hardwork only when the one with talent actually work's hard. Your talent means nothing if you didn't work hard to make the best use of your talents. So this match isn't just a battle of Talent versus Hardwork. It's a battle to see who between the two of us has worked the hardest! And I have no plans on being defeated!"

Midnight looked worryingly at Uraraka whose face was etched in determination as Bakugo's anger began rising at Uraraka's words and miniature sparks began exploding on the palms of his hand as Bakugo narrowed his eye's dangerously. Like a predator who was preparing to show it's pray what it means to stand before the apex of hunter's.

Midnight swallowed nervously and the air around the arena tensed in anticipation as Midnight announced. 

Midnight: "Before the match begins, do either competitors wish to resign early?"

Uraraka frowned in frustration at Midnight's words as she knew that Midnight didn't even believe in her abilities. That was until Sirzechs spoke.

Sirzechs: "Midnight."

At Sirzechs word's, the air around the arena became even more tense as everyone, student, teacher, civilians, heroes and even villains watching by the TV paid attention to him. They were surprised to see the look of dissapointment he gave Midnight who cowered and trembled at his gaze as he spoke. 

Sirzechs: "Do not belittle her by trying to give her a way out. She's the one who willingly stepped onto the arena, so this means that she's willing to prove herself in the face of an adversary. Bakugo Katsuki. Uraraka Ochaco. By my declaration, your match has now officially begun!"
