U.A. Sport's Festival!

(3rd Person Pov)

At the sound if Midnight firing the bullet into the air, the four kilometer race immediately begins and all the participants rush to exit through the stadium door struggling to move forward because they got packed into a mob by the narrow corridor as their first obstacle.

Shoto Todoroki realizes this and makes his move by freezing the pathway and racing ahead of all the others. In the commentary booth, President Mic exclaimed. 

President Mic: "WOAH! THE RACE HAS BEGUN AND IT LOOKS LIKE SHOTO TODOROKI FROM CLASS 1-A HAS TAKEN THE LEAD BY FREEZING THE LEGS OF MANY OTHER CONTESTANTS! BUT WHATS THIS?! IT SEEMS THERE ARE A FEW OTHERS WHO MANAGED TO AVOID GETTING FROZEN!" 

Eraserhead: "Is there even any point in me being here? You seem to be more than enough for commentary."

Soon enough Katsuki, Momo, Yuga, and Eijiro avoid the ice and stay on Shoto's back. Many other students remain close behind them and Shoto's surprised to see that so many were able to avoid his attack.

President Mic: "YEAH! WHAT AN EXCELLENT FIRST PERFORMANCE! SO MANY MANAGED TO AVOID BEING FROZEN IT'S QUITE SURPRISING! BUT HOW WILL THEY HANDLE THE FIRST PART OF THE OBSTACLE COURSE?! THE ROBO INFERNO!"

Standing before Todoroki were multiple robots. Some even standing at the heights of apartment buildings. Todoroki looked on in differently as he spoke to himself.

Todoroki: "This is what the Hero course students had to fight to join the course? Honestly if they went this far, I wished they prepared something better."

Todoroki placed his right hand on the ground as ice began appearing on the ground as one of the robots tried striking Todoroki only for him to swing his arm sending a wave of ice and frost completely freezing the robot without any issue. He soon let out a breath of cold air as he ran underneath the robot as some of the students yelled.

Random student 1: "He froze the robot!" 

Random Student 2: "Quick! Run underneath the frozen machine!"

However, their hope's were cut short as they heard Todoroki spoke.

Todoroki: "Don't do it. I froze that robot in an imbalanced position."

And at his words, the robot began falling to the ground as Sirzechs thought to himself.

Sirzechs: 'Atleast he has some degree of care for the other student's. However, I don't believe he's using the full extent of his power. He's holding back. Is he just saving his strength for the upcoming event's? Or is there something else I wonder?' 

Sirzechs came out of his thought's as he heard Snipe speaking.

Snipe: "As expected. Most of those in the lead are from class 1-A."

All Might, or Toshinori as he is known in his skinny form responded to Snipes words. 

Toshinori: "The other course's and Class B aren't bad. But."

And Aizawa continued as though he somehow managed to hear what Toshinori had said from the commentary booth confusing Sirzechs. ho 

Aizawa: "They won't be around for long. After the experience at the USJ, some experienced first hand the true nature of the world around them. Some experienced fear, some tackled it and surpassed that fear."

Sirzechs: "I guess that's a fair choice of wording. In comparison to the other students who still hesitate, the students of 1-A are using the experience to overcome their hesitation. That's why so many of them are in the lead."

Sirzechs watched as Midoriya used a part of the robot that Todoroki had destroyed as a weapon and a shield. Then he witnessed Momo Yaoyorozu creating a canon and destroying several robots with canon balls shocking the other students. Sirzechs then heard the obnoxiously loud voice of president mic. 

President Mic: "OHHHHH YEAH! WAS THE FIRTS OBSTACLE TOO EASY FOR ALL OF YOU?! THEN WHAT ABOUT THE SECOND OBSTACLE OF THIS COURSE?!" 

The students froze in fear and anxiousness as they watched just how deep the pit was. President Mic then spoke. 

President Mic: "IF YOU FALL YOUR OUT! SO YOU MUST FIND A WAY TO THE OTHER SIDE BY ANY MEANS! CRAWLING OR ROPE WALKING! WHATEVER YOU CHOOSE JUST BECAREFUL! AND THE NAME OF THE SECOND OBSTACLE IS..... THE FALL!" 

Sirzechs rolled his eyes as he muttered. 

Sirzechs: "Truly how creative."

Sirzechs watched as the first person to leap onto the ropes was the frog girl Tsuyu Asui if he recalled correctly. She grabbed onto the rope and began crawling towards the other side. 

And then came a girl with pink hair wearing some kind of gadget on her leg's as she spoke. 

Pink Haired Girl: "It's here! Finally it's here! My chance to shine! Time for my baby's to get some recognition! Behold! All the support companies nationwide! Wire arrows, and hover soles sparkle!" 

Sirzechs watched in amusement as two of the 1-A girls looked at the pink haired girl in surprise asking if she's allowed to bring support item's for the event. 

Pink Haired Girl: "Hero course students get combat training correct? Well is support course students are allowed to bring any costume or gadgets that we invented ourselves!" 

A wire arrow shot out of her gadget and pierced itself deep into one of the further platforms as she spoke. 

Pink Haired Girl: "In fact. To us support course student's, this is the best place to showcase our ideas and inventing skill's."

Right after she said those words she used her hover boots to reach one of the farther platform's with the help of her wire arrow preventing her from falling to the ground as she shot forward she exclaimed. 

Pink haired girl: "Now! Watch me and my baby's! Especially those big company's!" 

She then landed on the stone sides of the platform, and using her wire arrow and hover boots managed to reach the next platform with no problems. 

Sirzechs: "Atleast she's passionate about her inventions. With passion like hers she's definetly got a bright future in the support industry."

Sirzechs then heard President Mic speak. 

President Mic: "Different Types of people are trying to get their chance. Right Eraserhead?" 

Sirzechs snorted in amusement at Aizawa's irritation hearing him complain about why those idiots are just standing still. However eventually there would be slip ups, as a student who tried slowly walking across the rope lost their balance and began free falling to the ground causing many people to scream in dread. Especially because the student was several inches away from becoming a gory mess. 

However, the student suddenly vanished and reappeared back at the stadium with Sirzechs right next to them shocking and confusing everyone as even the students froze in shock and confusion before they heard President Mic explain what happend. 

President Mic: "The student was eliminated and brought back to the beginning. Remember, falling with no chances of making it back to the top considers an elimination, and we had Sirzechs Gremory assist us in making sure nothing had happend to the student's who wound up slipping during this second challenge."

Sirzechs glanced at the student and spoke. 

Sirzechs: "I assume your alright?" 

The student trembled being near Sirzechs, but they still nodded their head. Then when they blinked, Sirzechs had already reappeared at the rooftop of the U.A. Sports Festival Stadium as some of the people began speaking amongst themselves.

Random person 1: "Is it really wise to let a killer preside over the safety of the student's? You saw how he didn't save the student until they almost died. I bet he just did it because he wants to fix his image."

Random person 2: "Hey now. That's extremely rude. He saved the student and that's all that matter's. To call him a killer when so far the only time he's actually killed anyone was twelve years ago when he lost control of his quirk. And then when he reappeared he saved a bunch of student's and teachers from the very same monsters that took away his family."

Random person 3: "Your forgetting how he threatened to destroy the world and kill everyone on it all over some stupid porn video."

The person's comment caused Sirzechs arm to twitch slightly before he took a deep breath and thought to himself. 

Sirzechs: 'It's not worth it.'

Sirzechs eyes gazed upon the individual before he raised an eyebrow in surprise as Izuku Midoriya's mother Inko Midoriya who was right next to the man slapped his face extremely hard as she spoke.

Inko: "Some stupid porn video?! There were people who actively watched, posted and shared that vile video on every social media platform they could! Did you not see the suicide report's? People killed themselves over a video as horrendous and vile as someone's own mother being raped by villain's! Would you prefer seeing your own mother being raped by villains and they shared what they did to social media?!"

The sudden drama happening attracted the attention of the staff, the student's, and even the other pro heroes and civilians who watched in surprise at the woman's anger. And soon enough murmurs turned to debates which then turned into physical violence as some began beating up each other over the others opinion. Sirzechs shook his head in dissapointment. And with a single word, ended everything. 

Sirzechs: "Enough!"

Sirzechs word's carried an authority none dared to deny. Despite standing high on the rooftop, his voice reached everyone. 

Sirzechs: "If any of you have something you'd like to say about my mother say it directly to my face if you dare. And if you have nothing to say then remain silent and enjoy the event. Am I understood?"

Everyone gulped at the undeniable pressure that emanated from the teen. Sirzechs faced Inko as he spoke. 

Sirzechs: "Madam. I thank you for what you did. You are truly a kind individual."

Inko: "I just can't stand it. How can anyone be so cruel as to enjoy the video of a woman being raped to the point that they killed themselves over the loss of it."

Even as the women continued crying and being comforted by her fellow mother Mitsuki Bakugo which gained looks of sympathy from some and tears from those who lost loved ones to the erasure of the video of Venelena's rape. However, even in the face of an adversary that eclipses everyone and everything. There will still always be those idiotic, or even arrogant enough to believe that they can get away with provoking those who are strong.

Random Idiot 1: "Oi you red haired bastar-" 

The random idiots words got caught in their throat as Sirzechs appeared directly infront of him. His voice was calm, so much so that the idiot began hesitating as Sirzechs spoke. 

Sirzechs: "Be careful of what comes out of your mouth. It might just be your last word's."

The random idiot gulped in fear, and was about to open his mouth but when he saw the orb of purple destructive energy in Sirzechs palm, he wisely chose to remain silent. And when the idiot blinked, Sirzechs had already returned to the rooftop as he spoke. 

Sirzechs: "Continue."

Sirzechs words caused many students to gulp but they obeyed and continued the match.

President Mic: "Ahem. Apologies for the interruption that had just happened. Come now little listeners the event still has not ended. Put your heart and soul into completing this second obstacle course!"

Todoroki immediately continued sprinting towards the next rope before gliding on it using his ice quirk and reaching the other side as he thought. 

Todoroki: 'Sirzechs Gremory. How did he grow so strong in just twelve years? What is his secret? His presence is overwhelming. And unlike All Might whose presence feels auhoritive and calm. Sirzechs Gremory's presence is overwhelmingly more authoritive than All Might's, but he doesn't bring calmness, instead it's like I'm standing before a monster. One disguised in a human body.'

Todoroki reached the end of the Fall challenge as he looked back to see Katsuki catching up to him. 

Todoroki: 'He's become faster? So is he a slow starter? Regardless. There should be one last obstacle left.'

Todoroki ran up a flight of stairs only to be met by a sign that read (Danger Mines). As Todoroki stood before a field full of minefields. But the exact location of those minefields were fairly obvious due to the dirt being darker around where the minefields were. 

And meanwhile behind him, were the other student's with Tenya Ida sliding on the ropes keeping his arms outstretched to maintain balance as President Mic commented. 

President Mic: "WOOW! SO NOT COOL!" 

Todoroki paused looking at the massive minefields as he frowned wondering if it's even legal to be using minefields in an event like this even if they are easily spotted. However, he understood that the minefields weren't necessarily dangerous from President Mic's word's. 

President Mic: "THE MINES ARE PLACED WHERE YOU CAN SEE THEM IF YOUR CAREFUL, WORK THOSE EYES AND LEG'S! AND DON'T WORRY FOLKS, THESE MINEFIELDS ARE MEANT FOR COMPETITIVE USES, SO THEY'RE NOT POWERFUL. HOWEVER, THEY ARE LOUD AND FLASHY SO BE CAREFUL NOT TO WST YOURSELVES!" 

Soon a student stepped on one of the minefields sending them flying and others soon followed as Todoroki walked carefully through the minefields. As Sirzechs thought to himself. 

Sirzechs: 'He's not using his quirk to just freeze the mines and make it to the other side? Could it be he's already reaching his limit on how much frost his body can handle and so he's taking it slow to warm up a bit?'

Sirzechs watched as Katsuki Bakugo passed Todoroki forcing him to use his quirk to keep up with the ash blonde boy. However, Sirzechs eye's fell onto the green haired boy as he hummed and nodded his head. 

Sirzechs: 'The green haired boy Izuku Midoriya is smart. He's collecting multiple minefields into a single place to boost the explosive power of the minefields to help him out.' 

President Mic: "BAKUGO AND TODOROKI ARE KOW NICK AND NICK ALMOST REACHING THE END OF THE LAST OBSTACLE!" 

Sirzechs: "It seems like there's an underdog. The two with the most powerful quirks might end up losing to the boy who's not even using his power, but rather his intelligence and adaptabily by using the terrain to his advantage."

(BOOM!) 

A massive explosion caught the attention of the audience and the students on the minefield as they witnessed Izuku Midoriya flying past all of them temporarily surpassing both Bakugo and Todoroki as the green haired boy thought solemnly. 

Midoriya: 'I flew just as I planned. But the force is too strong. And... I wasn't thinking about the landing!' 

(Boom!) 

Bakugo: "Deku! Don't you dare get ahead of me!" 

Todoroki began freezing the minefields to make a path for himself as he thought. 

Todoroki: 'This will make a path for those in the back, but I have no choice now unless I want to be left behind.'

President Mic began yelling even more louder as he commented. 

P.Mic: "OH MY GOOOOOOOOOODDDDD!!! THE FORMER LEADS HAVE STOPPED GRAPPLING WITH EACH OTHER AND ARE CHASING AFTER MIDORIYA! THEY STOPPED FIGHTING WHEN A COMMON ENEMY APPEARS ALTHOUGH THEY'RE STILL FIGHTING!" 

Midoriya: 'Oh no! I'm losing speed! At this rate they'll both pass me in no time! Dammit! I won't be able to make up for the loss time when landing. No matter what, I can't let go of this shield! This is my one chance I have to get pass these two! Grab onto it and don't let go! If I can't pass them, I can't let them pass me!'

Midoriya flipped himself forward, before slamming the metal makeshift shield onto the ground extremely hard. 

(BOOM!) 

The minefields blew up stopping both Todoroki and Bakugo and sending Midoriya flying forward as he landed roughly on the ground but rolled to build momentum, before using that built momentum to get up and continue running as President Mic declared anxiously. 

P. Mic: "MIDORIYA HAS CLEARED THE LAST OBSTACLE! AND HAS BLOCKED BOTH BAKUGO AND TODOROKI! COME ON! YOUR SO CLOSE TO THE FINISH LINE! ERASERHEAD! YOUR CLASS IS AMAZING! WHAT HAVE YOU BEEN TEACHING THEM?!" 

Eraserhead: "I didn't teach them anything. They're igniting each other on their own."

P.Mic: "UA SPORTS FESTIVAL FIRST YEAR STAGE!" 

Eraserhead: "Are you ignoring me?" 

P.Mic: "WHO COULDVE PREDICTED THIS DEVOLEPMENT OR THIS ENDING FROM THE BEGINNING?! THE FIRST TO RETURN TO THE STADIUM! THE FIRST STUDENT IS NONE OTHER THAN MIDORIYA IZUKU FROM CLASS 1-A!" 

And the crowd went wild cheering in joy at the unexpected twits to the race and soon enough Todoroki came in second and Bakugo third.

And soon enough the 42 students to pass the race now stood before Midnight as she spoke. 

Midnight: "Now then. Onto the next event! Round and round the wheel goes, where will it stop nobody knows!" 

And once the wheel stooped, it showed the words (cavalry battle) as Midnight announced. 

Midnight: "Hohoho. The next event is a cavalry battle it seems. Qualifier first place Midoriya Izuku. You have a total of ten million points!" 

Immediately eye's of greed and competitiveness from almost all the other 41 students fell upon Midoriya who shuddered at the unexpected situation he's found himself in. 

Midoriya: 'This... This horrifying feeling. This is the feeling of being number one. Those eye's that look upon you. It's so heavy.'

Toshinori: 'It seems like your quick on the up take young man. That's right, this is what it means to be number one. The highest of expectations, and the most sought after by everyone.'

Midnight soon cracked her whip drawing the attention of everyone as she spoke. 

Midnight: "I'll now explain the rules of the cavalry battle. The time limit is 15 minute's, and each member is the equivalent of their point's. So let's say that by some miracle Midoriya ends up with either Todoroki or Bakugo, then his team will be worth ten million two hundred, or ten million one hundred."

Bakugo got pissed at just the idea of being a team with Midoriya, but ignored saying anything as he just wants the event to begin so he can crush Izuku.

Midnight: "You are also lucky because even if your team loses their head bands, or you fall to the ground, you aren't eliminated. However, attacks with I'll intent behind them will cause you and your team to be disqualified."

Most of the students of 1-A's eyes fell on Bakugo who felt a vein bulge on his forehead as he yelled. 

Bakugo: "The fuck your all looking at you bunch of extras?!" 

Everyone looked away as Midnight giggle slightly before continuing. 

Midnight: "You all have fifteen minutes to find your teammates. The timer begins now!" 

Sirzechs watched silently as everyone avoided joining Midoriya's team as he thought to himself. 

Sirzechs: 'I wonder how you'll get through this situation Midoriya. Being number one tends to place a massive target on your back, and not many people will be willing to help you because they seek that title that you hold. Not to mention in this kind of scenario, even those you considered friends won't necessarily help you.'

Sirzechs: "Midnight."

Sirzechs word's draw all attention to him which he ignored as he spoke. 

Sirzechs: "I'm curious. If by the fifteen minute mark Midoriya Izuku fails to get a team, will he be assigned whatever students remain unchosen?" 

Midnight: "Ah. Yes that's correct. If by the fifteen minute mark Midoriya Izuku fails to get a team, he will be assigned whoever remains. But by the off chance after fifteen minutes there is more than a single group who has yet to find their teammates, I will assign them randomly."

Sirzechs: "Understood. Thank you for the explanation."

Midnight blushed slightly at the red haired boys words but still nodded with a smile glad that he spoke to her. Soon enough, the fifteen minute mark passed and thankfully everyone got their own team including Midoriya which consisted of himself, Uraraka, Hatsume and Tokoyami. 

Midnight: "Alright! Without further ado, let the second game of the U.A. Sport's Festival begin!"
