Chapter 248: Brandon Piers' Compassion
"You still haven't answered me?" Brandon Piers was dissatisfied with Abigail's reaction.
Abigail glanced at Brandon, finding it hard to explain. "Yes, it looks good."
She was being incredibly perfunctory.
Brandon, "..."
He was just feeling down when his phone suddenly rang. He glanced at Abigail with his long, narrow eyes, answered the call, and said, "Speak."
His voice was cold and hard.
Kelvin Max shivered and spoke in a more cautious tone, "Mason Piers' people have contacted the Greens. I suspect they may have found something. Would you like to contact Mr. Green first, Second Young Master?"
"Oh." When he replaced Ruby with Abigail at the engagement ceremony, he had anticipated the possibility of things being exposed. It was not surprising that the second branch's people were probing the Greens.
But up until now, Lincoln Green had not used those shares. He was very curious about what the other party was thinking.
