Discovering x abilities

AN: From now on I will call the MC Dabi because otherwise it will fuck my brain, to be honest.

Soon Dabi arrived in the forest. [If my theory is correct than my quirk should work like a hatsu and Nen is something I do natural because the jump I did before is to 100% the doing of Nen.] He went to a tree and thought about some cool martial arts moves. Suddenly memories of how to fight came into his mind.

[What the fuck are these memories? I have never fought in my life. Could it be that I'm remembering the fights of Dabi. Then I should also remember how to use his quirk.] Dabi used the moves he could remember. First in the open against air. Than he tried it against a tree. Every hit shook the tree and after five minutes the tree fell because of the continues strikes.

[Oh man. I definitely became more powerful. In my previous life I would have broken my hand but now I broke the tree! Let's see if I can use his quirk?] Dabi went to another tree and started to charge his attack. Heat started to build up in his body. The moment he tried to release it out of his hands he screamed in pain.

"Fuck! That hurt like shit. No wonder Dabi burned his flesh with using his quirk." His right hand was smoking and he was thinking of ways to overcome this problem. [I think it's time to discover Nen.] He sat down and concentrated on his body. After a few minutes he felt some kind of weird aura.

[It seems like my aura nodes are already open and I'm unconsciously using ten to keep it from leaking. That's good it would be a pain to start from the bottom.] Dabi concentrated on his aura and tried to find a way to control it. During his meditation he forgot about time.

After some time he was finally able to absorb some of his aura. [That is my first step towards Zetsu. It would help me much if I could conceal my presence. Especially for stealing.] When he opened his eyes it was already dark outside.

He quickly got up and went back towards his hotel. When he arrived back in his room he realized how tired he was. He jumped on his bed and immediately fell asleep. The next morning he woke up full of energy. So he started his training again. After a few hours of meditating Dabi was able to retract his aura back into his body.

[It isn't perfect but it's enough for me. Seems like I'm some kind of genius in Nen] After his success he got something to eat and thought about what to train next. His decision fell on Ren. Soon he sat back down and started to increase his output of aura to the maximum and hold it for as long as possible.

This training continued for the next few days. Till he could hold Ren for around 7 minutes. [7 minutes is good enough. Now it's time for the water divination test. I'm so excited to see what my Nen group is.] He got a glass filled with water he put a leave on top of it. Than he started to infuse Ren into the water. Soon the water started to evaporate.

[Seems like I'm a specialist. The water evaporating fits to my quirk or should I call it hatsu?] After thinking for a while he got an idea [Ten is like a defense. So this means it should be able to guard me from my fire but I need a thicker layer of aura around me to guard myself. This means I have to increase my aura output so I have to perform Ren. Then I have to control it with Ten which means I have to perform En but instead of spreading it I have to coat myself in it. This means I have to retract it like with Zetsu but without absorbing it into me. Ko is similar but I don't want to concentrate it on one body part but on my whole body.]

He knew that to perform this would be a pain in the ass and would take months but he was willing to do it because otherwise he wouldn't be able to use his flames at all.
