Yasha was surprised.
"Wait, you don't know anything...? At the very least you must know how you got injured, right?"
Leo played dumb.
"I have no idea how or what happened to me, it's like a blank slate in my mind..."
"C'mon, think harder!"
"I said I don't remember! If I knew I would've already told you..." barked Leo.
Yasha finally stopped questioning it and returned to Leo's wounds.
"I stitched up your wounds, you should take a look." said Yasha.
Leo checked his wound and saw that it was indeed stitched up, but crudely. He would've done a better job.
"Thank you for taking care of me." said Leo.
"Honestly you should thank my father, Tony. If it wasn't for him you would've died outside."
"I will make sure to thank him, but do you have some kind of painkillers by any chance?" asked Leo.
His condition was way better than before, but the pain was still quite real.
"Oh right! I will be back in a second!" said Yasha as she dashed out of the room.
Leo relaxed his body as Yasha left the room.
He knew he couldn't make up a fake story about where he got the injuries since there was the chance that Yasha would contact the authorities to look for the people who stabbed Leo, which would lead to him getting exposed.
He was already glad that Yasha didn't notice anything weird about his body when she stitched him up, since he assumed that he didn't have any organs, or at the very least different ones.
Meanwhile, Leo was in thought he saw a young girl enter his room, curiously looking at Leo.
When the girl noticed Leo was looking she hid behind the door.
"No need to hide, you can come in." said Leo in a friendly tone.
The girl came in with a fearful expression.
She had pigtails and had glasses, Leo guessed that she was about six years old.
"No need to be afraid of me." said Leo.
There was still doubt in the girl's eyes as she spoke to Leo.
"What happened to you?" asked the girl
Leo gave the same answer as he gave Yasha, that he didn't remember.
Right when Leo answered Yasha entered the room again.
"Poppy! I told you not to enter this room!" said Yasha in an annoyed tone.
Poppy looked towards Yasha with puppy eyes.
"I'm sorry mommy, I was just curious I swear!"
Their discussion was cut short by Leo laughing.
"it's alright, children are curious by nature, can't blame her for investigating," said Leo.
"Still, not everything is there to be seen by them." responded Yasha as she handed Leo a bottle of pills.
Yasha continued.
"Here, take one of these a day." said Yasha.
Leo took the bottle and looked at it.
"Hydromorphone, huh?" muttered Leo.
He had dealt with the painkiller multiple times as he commonly prescribed it after a surgery.
"You should stay in bed for now and rest, I will bring you a meal later today." said Yasha.
Leo didn't object as he took a Hydromorphone tablet and swallowed it."
He laid down again and closed his eyes as he fell asleep.

Leo once again found himself in the white void, with Sogrith sitting in front of him.
Leo's anger boiled over.
"You motherfucker! Where were you when I fucking needed you!" yelled Leo.
He wanted to attack Sogrith but knew it would be of no use.
Sogrith simply laughed as he responded.
"You really think I left you for death? I knew someone would find you. The reason I didn't say anything is because you would have another extreme influx of emotions, thinking you were betrayed again and in return feeding me."
Leo was surprised but when he thought about it, all the dots connected.
"You're a sick bastard, you know that right?" said Leo.
"You should've expected me to do something like this." responded Sogrith.
Sogrith continued.
"Anyway, there is another reason why I called you."
"And that is?"
"If you didn't know yet, an MTF squadron is moving in on your location, looking for what they think is a member from the cult who got away in order to get information, as a matter of fact a sniper is currently observing the town from the woods."
