The Battle of Samatot(Part-08)

In the meeting room of the Chandra kingdom's royal castle, everyone was totally tense. They don't know what to say. They just saw a broadcast about Serene saying that she has successfully captured Samatot city within few hours.

"Looks like everyone gathered once again." Saying that the King Birendra entered the room.

Everybody stood and bowed.

"You may sit down." Saying that the King sat on his chair.

"Your Majesty, what do you think about it? I can't still believe that Samatot city fell." Prime minister said disbelief.

"No, Prime Minister Ranjeev. I think Samatot city has fell in their hand. I do think she is not a normal person to racon with." King said with a heavy mood.

"What surprised me most that she said she would solve the food crisis. But I don't think it's gonna happen." Finance Minister Aarti said.

"Why do you think so?" General Ranjit Singh asked.

"Samatot city has border with Kingdom of Mandalay. She won't be able to form trading relationship with us. Their only choice is Kingdom of Mandalay. But Kingdom of Mandalay had their eyes on Samatot city from the beginning. So, they would do anything to get that city. If I am not wrong, they will declare war on Samatot city pretty soon. Samatot city would have to fight against not only us but also them. No matter how powerful they are they won't be able to fight against two neighborhood kingdom at the same time." Finance Minister Aarti said.

"There is a possibility that she pledged her loyalty to Kingdom of Mandalay." Royal advisor said.

He is somehow troubled by the meeting now. Previously, he was dragged by general just because he thought Serene as a Goddess. But after apologizing to the King Birendra, he just barely get back to his position. So, he just doesn't want to get back to that position again.

"Nope. Not a chance. If it was true, I would have been known. I have been keeping my eyes on that kingdom for a long time. I haven't heard anything about their movement." General said.

"What about the Holy Light Kingdom?" Royal advisor asked.

"They are somewhat troublesome ones. There is a possibility of them believing that the white bitch is the promised one. If that happens, it's gonna be troublesome. They might be small in landscape but they are powerful. Also, who is sane enough to fight against that pope?" King Birendra sighed.

"I guess, your Majesty is right. But I think that angel would die before that. If Kingdom of Mandalay invade, they would totally get destroyed by both of our country. Besides, even if they managed to defeat us, it would take time. So, food crisis would likely remain same there. So, rebellion would likely happen too. I don't think I can see any way for them to escape from that hellish reality." Prime minister said.

"I guess, you're right." King Birendra smiled.

*Knock *Knock

When they were discussing about Serene's matter, someone knocked the door.

"Who is it?" King Birendra's voice echoed.

"It's me, father." a gentle voice can be heard from the other side of the door.

"Okay come in, Rohan." King Birendra approved.

The second prince Rohan entered the room. Prince Rohan is known as the 'Prince perfect'. He is a gentle and good natured person, which is totally rare for a member of the Chandra Royal family. he might not as good as his older brother in strength but he is good at office work.

"Father, I heard saw older brother gathering his army. He said that he is going to attack Samatot city. Is that true?" Prince Rohan asked.

"Yes. What about it?" King replied.

"Please, you should stop him." Prince Rohan said desperately.

"Why?" King replied in confusion.

"Because he is gonna lose. We should appologise to our Goddess. Otherwise, she would give us divine punishment." Prince Rohan said desperately.

"Hahaha." everyone laughed hearing Prince's words.

"Hahaha Rohan, you might be intelligent. But when it comes to religion, you becomes a fool. There's no way that she is a real goddess. She is just a fake." Birendra said to Rohan.

"But father, she has such a powerful army which is able to capture such a large city within few hours. Besides, don't you think the army behind her was totally powerful?" Rohan tried to explain.

"Nope. I think Samatot city da because Duke Chauhan was totally careless. People joined with her to fight against duke and nobels." The King said.

Other nodded too.

"Please, listen to me. She is absolutely powerful. We should not engage war against her." Prince Rohan tried to explain.

"Okay, stop your nonsense, Rohan. You go back to your wife. She is the sister of the Duke after all." King Birendra scolded him.

"I understand, father. But would you please let me to visit Samatot city in secret?" he asked.

"What would you do there?"

"I would ask her to join our side if possible. I don't want to make her our enemy." Prince Rohan said with determination.

King Birendra looked at him and sighed, "Okay, you don't have tk go their in secret. Go with the army and I will let the negotiations part to you." King Birendra said to Prince.

"Thank you, your majesty." Saying that he left.

After he left, Royal advisor looked at King Birendra and asked, "Are you okay with that, Your Majesty? You know that Prince Ravi hate him and sees him as a threat."

"It's okay. Ravi is not good with these kinds of works. If we let the whole thing to him, he would definitely propose that bitch at first site and try to use his position to fuck her. Rohan is somewhat calm and good with negotiations. He will be able to somewhat make things right." King Birendra said to Royal Advisor.

After that, they continued their discussion. King Birendra was somewhat relieved that he will whether get the Samatot city back or he would have such a beautiful girl as a slave. He plans to make her agree to join the royal family and make her a puppet to gain popularity.

But he had no idea that a strong storm was already being created within the royal family.

This storm will totally destroy the Chandra Kingdom and a big war was about to happen which would totally change the history of the Nexus world.
