Date with Sneha

Right now, I am enjoying a cup of tea with Sneha. Before I knew it, I found myself in a date with Sneha. She suddenly invited me and dragged me to few places. That Tara bastard left me while saying she will research about this world. I bet she just came up with this excuse just to avoid getting dragged on.

"Is it good?" Sneha asked me with sparkling eyes with full of enthusiasm.

"Y-yeah." I answered.

"Right. I see, you have good taste. I like this shop too. The fragrance is really good. The atmosphere is also somewhat different from other shops." She said while finishing her tea.

I finished mine too.

"I guess, you're right." I replied.

To be honest, I thought Sneha would be a silent and cool type of person. But she is rather talkative. I have never expected her to be like this with such a beautiful cool type of appearance.

"Thank you for coming." The waitress said.

After giving the bill we came out of the shop.

"Looks like you're back to normal. Now I can officially greet you. Welcome to the Samatot city, A city city where innocent people lose their valuable things every single day." She said with a beautiful smile.

"T-thanks." I thanked her. That was a rather unpleasant greeting.

"Looks like you're new in this country. Let me explain the situation in this country. You see, right now this Chandra kingdom is ruling by a bad king. Or rather, nobles are mostly corrupted and tyrannous too. They will do anything for their own entertainment. Like killing, raping etc. Slavery is not anything new here. After that, she dragged me in front of a beautiful building. It's not a big building by any means. But it's beautiful.

"This is temple of the Light Goddess, Sherry Nova. It's the one of the largest religion in this Ekox continent. It is said that long time ago there was an Evil God that ruled over this world. That God was truly merciless and cruel. One day, Light Goddess and Dark Goddess came to this world and killed that Evil God. After that, people started to worship this Light Goddess and Dark Goddess. Two most powerful religion has born with this. People of the EKOX CONTINENT is more likely follow Light Goddes and people of the UYUX CONTINENT follow Dark Goddess." Sneha explained me about this world's most powerful two religion.

Wait, Light Goddess, Sherry Nova? Why do I feel like it's a name that I know very well?

"Well, let's go in." Saying that she started to pulling me of.

We entered in a big room. There were few big statues. They are all about an Goddess with nine wings. Wait, why do I feel like she resemble a lot like Sherry-san? Or rather, isn't it Sherry-san?

{Affirmative.} Sherry-san's voice can be heard in my head.

Wait, what are you doing Sherry-san? You are worshipped as a God here? I don't even know that I was being friend with a God.

{That's why I said you not to use your true form. Whenever I sent a subordinate here to train, they start worshipping them. There's a limit of being stupid.}

Looks like you don't like to be called a Goddess.

"People really loves Goddess Sherry Nova. She is one of the most beautiful and kind goddess after all. Compare to that the dark Goddess is really a nasty person. I heard she doesn't care about this world. Well, it's not like I have meet them in the first place." Sneha said.

Well, I know Sherry-san. She is a kind person. I don't know anything about that Dark Goddess yet.

I can see that few people is worshipping Sherry-san. Many people is praying to her. Well, I doubt the person herself care about it.

"Well, would you like to pray for a bit?" Sneha asked.

"I guess, I would pass." I replied.

Well, I know the person herself. For some reason, just thinking about worshipping her makes me uneasy.

"Well, then let's go to next place." she said.

"Where?" I asked.

"My favorite restaurant in this city." Saying that she smiled.

"Oh, Okay." Saying that I started to follow her.

This town is not a bad town by any means. It's just people is not happy. I can see people getting tortured by others here and there. But people still trying to live happily. That's the most beautiful thing I can say. People are really strong and have a strong will to live. For some reason, I started to have a soft spot for general people around here. I feel like I am starting to understand what Sneha-san wanted me to know. I feel like I have a feeling why Sneha-san dragged me into this date.
