Heather raised her hand but once again she held back.
"Stop this already Heather."
Heather didn't reply to Wesley.
Wesley shook his head as well, "Stop staying in the past already."
He stood up and left.
She ended up sighing without another word.
A bit later a canned coffee was pushed towards her.
She furrowed her brows and looked back at Jasmine.
She had forgotten that the child was present during their conversation.
Looking at the canned coffee, she knew it came from the vending machine.
"How did you buy this?" she asked.
"Cheer up," the child instead said before leaving as well.
Heather blinked and chuckled in defeat.
'Seriously no matter how I change my mind, I keep coming back to feeling lost.'
She picked up the coffee, held it with both hands before leaning her forehead towards her hands.
As she closed her eyes, she reminisced about the past.
'Can you promise me one thing then?'
