Chapter 3 But She's Mommy

Old Mrs. Su was so scared that she quickly grabbed Su Aolong, "Oh no, don't talk nonsense! It wasn't you, it wasn't you!"

Old Mrs. Su frantically gave Su Aolong meaningful glances.

Su Aolong began to hesitate.

Su Chaoxi threw in a bombshell and scoffed lightly, "I knew it couldn't be you who painted it. Such amazing art, how could it possibly be you? You only know how to deceive people! Only a genius could create this."

Su Aolong grew anxious, "It really was me, sister! It was all my work, I am that genius!"

Su Chaoxi gave him a cold look, "How can you prove it?"

Su Aolong shouted, "I started painting from over there, and I even took a dump on that red car there! Hahahaha!"

Su Aolong even laughed proudly with his hands on his hips.

The female owner of the red car turned green and screamed, "You are so disgusting!"

Su Chaoxi's parents arrived just in time to hear this.

The couple's faces turned ashen.

Su Zhiguo cursed with a dark face, "What's going on here?"

Su Chaoxi looked over calmly.

But when she saw the couple, the iciness in her eyes almost pierced through them.

Su Zhiguo and Yang Yingrong were both taken aback.

For some reason, they felt that their daughter in front of them had suddenly become different.

Su Aolong threw himself at Su Chaoxi with a flattering smile, "Sister, I'm the genius, so you have to give me that one million, right?"

They were immediately surrounded by the car owners present.

When had this woman ever been so close to him?

Xie Mizhi, on the other hand, was full of attachment and even stretched out her arms wanting Su Chaoxi to hug her!

Xie Xunzhi's expression changed as he pulled Xie Mizhi back, "Sister!"

He looked at her with a protective alertness, as if guarding against a thief.

His eyes were deep black.

Like a little wolf cub.

It pained Su Chaoxi's heart, and she gave Xie Xunzhi a gentle smile, explaining, "Xunxun, Mommy didn't mean to hurt your sister. Mommy is going to take you both out for a big meal, okay?"

But Xie Xunzhi just stared at her with those dark, lacquered eyes.

Utterly cold.

Clearly, he didn't believe her.

Su Chaoxi's heart ached even more. She forced a smile, "Xunxun, Mommy knows she was wrong before. Mommy wants to make it up to you and your sister. Will you believe Mommy this one time?"

Xie Xunzhi's expression remained unchanged, unwavering.

However, Xie Mizhi nodded repeatedly, her eyes gleaming as she looked at Su Chaoxi, ready to be embraced again.

Xie Xunzhi looked frustrated, as if he couldn't believe his sister's naïveté, pulling her aside and whispering, "Xie Mizhi, have you forgotten how she used to beat us? Do you want to be hit again? Are you silly?"

Xie Mizhi seemed to recall unpleasant memories, shivering.

Yet she still looked at Su Chaoxi with a trace of longing.

But she was Mommy!

Xie Xunzhi felt like he could explode with anger, gritting his teeth, "You really have no backbone!"

Xie Mizhi felt wronged.

She was being despised by her brother.

But she was Mommy!

Xie Mizhi's little face was wrinkled in conflict, looking back and forth between her brother and mother.

Xie Mizhi had no choice but to stop her agonizing, letting her brother take her hand.

Once he had his sister by the hand, Xie Xunzhi felt considerably more at ease.

In his heart, he swore silently: he would never let anyone hurt his sister!
