A Job

"let this be the first meeting of Dark Oblivion." Standing on top of a stage, Nagato raised a glass of wine before the only 6 members of Dark Oblivion. Brain, Erik, Macbeth, Richard Buchanan, Sawyer, and lastly Sorano. on second thought, they were not the only member, Erik had a pet snake, and Brain had a staff that seemed to have a will of its own.

Brain was the only audit here, everyone else was around 13 years old. Brain had taken these 5 under his wings, using the 5 of them to use link magic to seal away Zero, who had no control over himself and would just run around destroying everything. it's not like Nagato bothered to stop him, Zero didn't destroy things that Nagato would have an interest in.

"If I may ask, why do you wish our guild to be a legal guild?" Brain asked with a confused look, everyone else had a confused look while looking at me.

"Why become a dark guild and not use the benefit the magic council would give us?" I asked softly while drinking from the cup.

"What is the great power in this world?" I asked softly, to which Brain looked at me with a confused look.

"is it not your magic?" Brain asked, to which I looked towards Erick wanting to know his answer. but he too agrees with Brain. Macbeth also believed my magic was the strongest, along with everyone but Richard who said money. this guy loved money.

"Thats right. Its money. the strongest magic in this world is money, control the flow of money and you control the world. with that level of control, you would hold everyone's life in the palm of her hand. destroy the market, be it increasing the price of food housing, or even the price needed for people to post missions, and this world would destroy itself." I said with a smirk, stunning Brain.

"what are you saying?" Brain asked in shock, but he already had a good idea of my next words.

"Dark Oblivion would be are righteous good guild, we take missions, and even run a night club... no a caiso or something of the kind. but in the dark, a guild called... I haven't come up with a name for it, but this would be our dark guild, doing assassination missions, kidnapping, or whatever. it would take control of the underground world, and have eyes and ears everywhere... and even in the magic council." I said with a smile, making Brain look at me for some time.

"Should we not switch the names? Dark Oblivion doesn't sound like a righteous guild or something like that." Sorano, the only girl amongst us said softly, making me look at her for a moment, making her nervous. 

"you're right. we need a better name... and that brings me to the next subject. My apologies for ignoring the guild for the past 2 years, I promise you all that won't happen again. For joining my guild, I give you all magic that has been lost in time, magic which rivals the power of the gods." I said with a smile while looking at all of them.

"no one... and even myself, I don't know the full usage of my magic," I said calmly, I was able to use magic other than Null Magic, but I used up far more energy than others. so much energy that I would barely be able to cast even the most basic of magic 3 times before running out of magical power.

But I have noticed that things I nullify, I could easily recall. this was not limited to lifeforms, but even magic. as a sword, I never bothered much for such a thing, but in this life, this was useful to me as I had pretty much all of the most powerful magic in this world, although I couldn't use it.

"Erik, I see you wish to become a Poison Dragon Slayer... What if You Become Posion God Slayer? instead of having poison which can skill simple dragons, how about you get your hands on magic which allows you to poison the gods? magic which was born from Loki's child, Jörmungand. a deadly thing with poison which is scary to both gods and demons." I said while trying hard to use this magic power, but it was something I could do. I didn't have enough, but Erik was moved. So I took his hand, transferring the knowledge into his mind.

"Macbeth, your magic allows you to reflect, distort, and twist all manner of objects... all but living things. Reflector magic is what I believe it's called. I have a better one, Deformation Magic, Magic which could allow you to defrom anything, living or not. I waved killed... I mean erased a man who was capable of deforming reality, into your image." I said making Mecbeth's eyes widen at such power, seeing my held-out hand, he took it, allowing me to give him the knowledge of this magic.

Richard Buchanan, I went on to give him Earth God Slayer Magic. this was a unique form of magic, it was from the giants, Gaia children. created to overthrow Zeus, although they failed, these Giants had the magic needed to overthrow the gods. I killed a few of them, although other types of Giants were soon born, such as the forest Giants and so on

Earth God Slayer Magic allowed one to create pretty much any ore they want, from diamonds to even things far stronger than diamonds. they had control of pretty much any ores, making them nearly impossible to face with swords and other stuff as they could turn such things against you.

Sawyer, I have Speed Demon Magic. Unlike Hermes' magic which increased his speed, Hermes is the fastest god alive. Speed Demon Magic belonged to the fastest demon, magic which allowed this demon to steal the speed of those it sees, of course, if there was a limit to just how much speed they could steal. but the more magical power you have, the higher this limit. and you can't just steal speed instantly, luckily this magic also increases one speed.

Lastly, Sorano. I gave her. MorningStar Magic, Risa's father's old magic, magic which he cast away. The strongest angel magic, sadly that morning star fell, birthing the demons and with it meaning other things.

As for Brain, I was going to give her Nxy Magic... but I was not foolish enough to risk engaging her. not even Zeus dared to enrage Nxy, the woman's power was that scary. so I simply gave him Darkness God Slayer Magic. this magic belonged to a god I don't even remember, but pretty much it allowed Brain to be the master of darkness and shadows.

As for Zero, I had him appear for me to give him Destruction Magic, Shiva magic. honestly, this was a bad idea. but I didn't care much, I supported my people. I would not hold back.

following that day, a new guild appeared to the world. A guild that went by the name, Morning Star Guild. I was not as creative with names as I wished I was, but around the same time, a new dark guild appeared Dark Oblivion.

Morning Star quickly rose to fame as Brain went on to defeat one of the wizard saints to become a wizard saint himself. after which, the other members quickly showed off the power of this guild. but they held back, only showing the magic that Brain had taught them,

meanwhile, Dark Oblivion took on the highest-paying job. which was mostly assassination jobs, and for its first job, Nagato was going to take the job.

"This a big hit, you want me to kill a guild master? That should at last be 20 million Jewels," I said calmly while looking at the guild master of some random guild I could care less to know. currently, my red hair covers my missing left eye, with the rest hanging smoothly behind me. while my face was covered by a black face mask.

"thats too high?" He said in shock, that the Guild master he wanted to be dead was from a rival guild, and they had been growing much faster than his guild, and at this rate, they would be suppressed.

"is it? that 20 million is to kill, but for some extra stuff you might want. Do you want to play the act of hero and save a few guild members to absorb into your own? sure, you can do that as well. Do you want me to slaughter the whole guild? that can be done as well. all for 20 million. but it has to be done before the sun rises. we only work at night." I said calmly, making the guild master's eyes narrow in deep through,

"What can a little kid like you do?" He asked, to which I just snapped my finger, causing his clothing to disappear, turning into nothing.

"It would be that easy for me, no traces would be left behind. if you also want to put on a show of you playing hero, I can act like I'm fighting you before running away." I said calmly, ignoring him while he covered his face in shock. shock and slight fear in his eyes. but he quickly snapped out of it, and after a moment pulled out a check and wrote down 10 million Jewels. this was simply the down payment, the rest would be given to me after the job was done

"It's too risky, just kill him and all of the talents within the powerhouses in the sect." He said softly, to which I nodded calmly, before waving him away. As for how we got our first costume and a guild master at that, I would have to thank Brain for that, the guy had connections.

With all said and done, I left to do my mission while having Brain stand by. I was not that strong, so I couldn't force someone to fight if they wished to flee. My power wasn't absolute, My state of mind was far from being empty. Even if my heart was empty, my strength would remain the same, it just that my magic would have almost no limitation, even the power of the gods would only be able to show slight resistance before my power.

"It's called the Golden Heart Guild." Brain said while standing behind me, while ii looked at the golden guild hall before me. unlike the Fairy Tail Guild Hall which was a building built nearly a hundred years ago and was an old build made out of wood. the Golden Heart Guildhall was built out of higher quality and shiny resources to show off their might. even though they were not even as strong as the fairy tale guild.

"it's ranked in the top 217 amongst the guilds, it might be tricky." Brain said while reading through the information he had on this guild, or at least the information he was able to collect. I looked at him with a weird look, what was the point of ranking guilds past 100? 

"it was ranked using magic, Archive magic. all of the data of all of the guilds were used to rank them." He said calmly, to which I nodded slightly. I sighed softly, before heading off to fight my targets.
