The faces of most of the subordinates, excluding Sabrat and Eirian, turned pale. It's not that they couldn't handle a phoenix; with their numbers and combined strength, they could easily take one down. However, their grim expressions stemmed from their inability to sense the cultivation base of the phoenix lurking in the forest. Being mostly Great Sages, the fact that they couldn't gauge the phoenix's strength meant it surpassed their own.
But just how much stronger was this phoenix compared to the entire group of demons and Demi-humans? Could it be a Vortex stage beast, or worse, a Void stage cultivator?
