The entire room fell silent. The shock on their faces was evident, enough to suggest that even the jury and judge wished they could take out a gun and eliminate the alter ego that had just awakened. "This doesn't look like a staring contest to me, considering you all seem to want to devour me with your eyes," he spoke again with a straight face. His appearance seemed very innocent, yet closer observation revealed a merciless predator.
"Like I said, the real Zuku is now asleep. I believe this is the one you all wanted," Doctor Rowan spoke as he gazed at the fiery lawyer, whose world was crumbling around her. Her perfectly crafted case now seemed irrelevant in the face of the whole world, and there was nothing she could do about it.
