Rebirth Of The Sage Among Magicians

In a remote mountainous region with no civilization nearby within ten thousand kilometers of radius, there's a mansion that doesn't look like a mansion because of its peculiar location and what's around it.

This building that looks like a mansion that's out of touch with the rest of the world because of its lonely look for being the only building in such a huge area of land.

If someone passingly flew above it, they would think this place is definitely abandoned but if someone took a closer look they would realize that this place can't be abandoned because of how fresh the paint looks on the building and the fact that it doesn't look at all like it has been there for long.

But then again all this can also be credited for someone taking care of it regularly but if this is indeed the case you should ask yourself 'who would take care of such a mansion?' when there's basically nothing nearby besides mountains and no man's land because you could occasionally hear victorious wild and deadly beasts howls or a mournful and pain filled scream.

This building in the middle of nowhere that should be a mansion but isn't is because the damn building is actually floating on top of a huge lake which could be misunderstood as a sea itself because of its sheer size and depth!

If a giant of 200 meters in height could stand right next to the 'mansion' and pick it up he would realize that the 'mansion' looks like a sword without its hilt and eight out of ten of its tang is missing. But then again a sword is supposed to be sharp and thin but this thing looks like a smooth even surface hurricane lance, you could even think of it as a tower without windows if the 'mansion' was flipped upside down.

And indeed it is a tower which by the looks of it has been picked up and thrown into this lake but if one was inside this tower one would realize that it was designed to be like this as the insides of the tower are neatly organized in a way that if the building was even 1 degree off balance everything inside the tower would shift towards the direction the tower was off balance.

But strangely enough, even when waves of water hit the 'mansions' sides which are close to the water surface or the underwater currents that hit the tower and shake it off balance, nothing inside gets messed up. All this would do is give goosebumps to even the most experienced person because of the buildings eeriness, quietness and cleanliness. You could even think of this place as a haunted tower.

But that is wrong because there actually is someone who lives there and this said person is writing something inside one of the towers floors; rooms. In this room this person is writing something intensely in a diary while being very focused and murmuring something along the lines "...I need to hurry up."

If a normal person were watching this they would be horrified!

And no not because this person looks like a ugly monster or something strange but because of the sounds that are coming out of when this person is writing; something akin to a miniature sonic boom and the pen and the hand holding the pen moving at such speed, it would look like blurred images from close up.

One would have to be at least 35 meters away to even register something like a hand and pen but then again this imaginary ordinary bystander would probably faint due to fear or the dizziness coming from hearing sonic booms constantly.

Some of the already written content in the diary were complex and hard to understand stuff which obviously weren't meant for others to understand beside the writer itself. But this can't be blamed on the writer as this is a diary and not a textbook used in schools which explain things as simply as possible to students, but it doesn't matter if others don't understand it for now.

As someone curious to find out the truth will analyse and translate these complex symbols for others to understand and digest, maybe someone will even prove that whatever were written in this diary actually wasn't true at all.

Unfortunately or fortunately such a time will never come as the written title of this diary is 'My preparation method and notes on how to change the fate that await us all - The end of the known world.'
