Several whispers and conversations frenetically permeated the area. Lian simply walked back calmly to his group, who then all walked together toward another evaluation stone.
This stone had a strong, pure emerald color and was meant to assess the talent and lineage of non-human races. Saya was to be evaluated there, while Riria, being half-human and half-elf, could choose the desired method. The vast majority of hybrids had a thin and deficient lineage and always chose to be evaluated as humans.
As they approached the stone, murmurs increased, and curious glances turned piercing. Everyone in Lian's group now seemed mysteriously intimidating, and both Saya and Riria sparked interest and speculation among those present. Everyone wanted to see how the emerald stone would react to them.
