Love in the air

Yusheng and Pei Jin both were very busy with their preparations for the royal hunt which was only 13 days far. Tomorrow all of them would be heading to Jing. It would take 10 days to reach there and 3 days was the must to supervise the preparations.

Jing was duke zhongyong's domain hence they were not rushed as the duke himself was preparing for the hunt. The reason Pei Jin held the hunt in Jing was Huajin had great fear for duke Taiwen.

Duke Taiwen was able to capture the two cities of Caimin and Green wind from Huajin while slaying there many known generals. His army used to be the strongest before which only placed second after Pei Jin took command of his own army.

Pei Jin knew that Huajin will be like a tail tucked beast in Jing.

Pei Jin was mostly been busy with other matter beside the royal hunt. Tao felt his master would soon turn to amorous person from ambitious person.

These past week his master was only concentrated for the coming of Qixi festival. Planning various things to show his love to their future matriach.

Their hands and feet's nearly falling from running around and gathering stuffs ordered by master.

Each day he invented new idea making all the servants cry blood inside. They were finally relieved that the preparations were complete and today along with master they would find the results of such hard worked preparation.

Pei Jin was very excited about today as it was a day for lovers also known as earliest love festival. He wanted to share his and Yusheng's first qixi festival grandly.

On Yusheng's side zhu geng and xiaoqing being in cahoots with Pei Jin had the matter hidden. They ushered her early in the morning and prepared her the day. Even lying that today she must visit to temple for praying as it was a ritual.

Yusheng has only once visited to temple after her rebirth. Hence she obliged with them thinking she indeed needed to visit the temple. She was suprised to see Pei Jin on the front yard.

Pei Jin smiles brightly seeing his beautiful beloved. He had send new clothes yesterday which she was currently wearing. He easily lies about wanting to go together as he also had to pray.

On their way Yusheng asked which temple were they visiting and was pleased to hear that they were headed to dragon temple. They had light chit chats on their way.

When she came down from the carriage she was suprised and pleased with its beauty, rows and rows of beautiful flower's on each side of the path, fresh air bringing sense of calmness.

Soon they were welcomed by rows of purple flowering trees and magnolia trees. The purple and while surrounded by green was just like being in heaven. The deeper they went the more beautiful it was.

Inside the temple was a statue of Zhinu where Yusheng lighted the incense and prayed while Pei Jin just stood. Yusheng asks him to light the incense but is answered that he isn't suppose to. She felt strange but didn't force him then together they went to pray the Jade emperor where both of them lit the incenses and finally they prayed to Guan Yin.

She was thinking of praying to Buddha and meditate for some time when Pei Jin hurries her to be somewhere else and they can visit other time. Feeling helpless she follows him.

She was brought in a pavilion which seemed to be newly built facing the lake right opposite to the pavilion used by royals on dragon festival. She felt Pei Jin was acting strange. His excitement out of the blue and the eyes seeming to hide something.
