A small city on the southern coast. It was time to get off work.
A group of off-duty men and women walked out of a small factory.
The woman was wearing an ordinary grey work suit, her back was straight, her eyes were fixed on the sky, and from head to toe, she exuded the aura of a person that won't allow anyone to get too close to her.
Her face was as plain as a normal person's. The only thing that caught people's attention was her red lips. The only bright thing on her body was her fiery red lips. Her entire face was covered with lipstick.
The tinge of red was eye-catching in the gray, as if announcing her difference, marking her chilliness.
The others were all talking and laughing around her. Only she was alone, and no one dared to approach her. However, her expressionless face proclaimed her disdain.
When she reached a corner, she stopped because there was a prim man in front of her, blocking her way. The man held a wild flower tightly in his hands, wanting to hand it over but not daring to, trembling and trembling.
The woman lowered her eyes and did not look at the person in front of her. Her face remained indifferent.
"Chu Wan, I … I've thought it through, and I still want to take care of you. " The man seemed to muster up the courage to speak nervously. "You …" Even though you are older than me by six years, I am happy. Everyone says that a female junior is holding onto gold bars, and I am willing … Carry two golden bricks. "
"Heh." The woman's red lips parted as she said indifferently: "I don't want to." With that, she walked around him, still walking forward.
"I won't give up, I'm going home this weekend. We're having fish festival, I'm going out to sea, don't worry, I'll be back soon."
The straight back of the woman in front of him suddenly stopped, and the man's eyes widened. After hesitating for a few seconds, he quickly ran over.
"Chu Wan, what's wrong with you? Is there something wrong? " he asked with concern.
The woman called Chu Wan was looking straight ahead, as though she was thinking about something.
The distant scene flashed past Chu Wan's mind.
"Dad, dad, I still want to eat candied fruits."
In the bustling market, an eight-year-old girl was riding on the neck of a tall man, smiling happily.
The green uniformed man's face was full of love as he advised, "Be good, Nannan. We have already eaten two skewers today. If you continue eating, Mommy will go back and scold us."
"Heh heh heh heh …" The girl's laughter was like silver bells ringing, "Dad, give me something else instead."
The man thought about it for a moment, then said, "How about this. Next time Dad comes back, he'll take you to the seaside and take you fishing in a big boat, okay?"
"Alright!" The girl happily agreed, "Let's catch fish."
"Alright, we'll fish ourselves."
That big and small hand shone in the sunlight, shining with beauty.
There was no next time …
The corners of Chu Wan's eyes were moist. She looked up at the anxious man before her, her red lips slightly parted. "You want to go home and fish in the sea?"
When the man heard Chu Wan asking him a question, he thought Chu Wan was finally concerned about him. For a moment, he was excited, but he quickly nodded, "Yes, don't worry, I'll be back soon. I'll definitely come back for you."
Chu Wan was a little impatient, she asked again, "You want to go home and fish in the sea?"
"Huh?" The man was at a loss and subconsciously said, "Yes, every year during the fish festival, the men of our family will all go to sea. This is a custom of ours, so I have to go back …"
"I want to go too." Chu Wan said.
"What?"
"I want to go fishing."
The man was a bit confused. "About that …" "Going to sea isn't fun at all, and it is also very dangerous. We might run into sharks …"
"I want to go fishing in the sea!" She stared at the man with a stubborn and irresistible look in her eyes, as if she would turn her head in the next second and stop talking to him at once.
"Oh, yes, yes, I'll take you," he said quickly. With him by her side, nothing should happen, right? This was the first time Chu Wan had requested anything from him, so he had to agree.
Hey guys! This is the same one from the Proud Military Sister-in-Law of Rebirth.
I've been updating the novel but it's not uploading because the writing status is locked.
I tried reaching out for help and re-doing each chapter to see if I've somehow missed some words that are not allowed. But still there's no change.
So I've decided to re-create the novel with a different name. Hopefully this one will stay put.
Thanks for all your understading, comments and powerstones. I appreciate it.
