Chapter 198 : It's snowing!

" Liam, come outside "! Liam was so surprised, he fell out of his bed " Are we under attack "!? Nectar laughed as she went back to the balcony and looked out at the trees already beign covered in a steady layer of snow.

Liam yawned as he joined her, " What time is it "? She looked up at the sky and held out her hand for the snowflakes, " Around seven in the morning, why "? Liam twitched slightly, " Why are you up so early "?

She took a deep breath, " You wouldn't understand ". He yelled through clenched teeth, " Then why did you wake me up "? She blinked a few times then laughed nervously, " To see the snow ".

He grunted as he marched back in, " You're unbelievable sometimes ". She covered her mouth, stopping herself from laughing as she followed behind him, " You're so grumpy ".

He'd already gone back to bed and turned his back to her, " Leave me alone "! She laughed and nodded, " Anything you want". Liam was already dozing off when she jumped on to the bed, startling him.

She suddenly jumped on top of him and he sighed in defeat [ I'm not gonna get any sleep, am I ? ] " What is it "? She pouted as she looked at him helplessly, " I dunno what to wear ".

He slumped back, his eye twitching slightly [ Calm down. You can do this ] and kicked her off the bed " You're a child sometimes ". She looked up at him, rubbing her head " And you're my caretaker ".

He rolled his eyes as he got out of bed, " Yeah yeah. Let's get you something to wear and be done with this ". She nodded as she scrambled to her feet and followed after him, " Okay ".

Nectar sat happily in front of the mirror as Liam used his hands to dry her hair. " What are you up to "? She laughed nervously as she avoided his gaze in the mirror, " Nothing. I'll be in the suite so don't worry ".

He ended up doing her pigtails then put them in buns. He put his hand in the jewelry box and randomly picked out a set. It was a silver chain with a flame shaped pendant and matching dangling earrings.

Satisfied with his work, he crawled back into bed. He pointed a finger at her sternly, " Whatever you're up to, stay out of trouble ". She pursed her lips and nodded, " Yes sir ". She reached for the door then turned around, saw he was already asleep and smiled " He must really be tired ".

Bonsi blinked more than a few times as she tried to think clearly [ What's going on here? ] Axis had one hand wrapped around her waist while he used the other to secure Archie who was sleeping on his chest.

She tried to break free of his grip but he wasn't budging. She frowned after several futile attempts [ Sometimes, I forget how strong he is ] and he suddenly pulled her closer, turning his head to her. She had her back to him the whole time and stiffened upon the sudden contact.

He mumbled incoherently to himself, " Yes Archie, your mother hasn't rolled off the bed ". She frowned slightly, turning her head to him [ What's that supposed to mean? ]

She was surprised by how peaceful he looked, with his long hair all over the place " He's really handsome, isn't he ". She blushed as she looked the other way, " What am I saying "!?

Axis had a slight smile on his lips as he peeked at her from the corner of his eye [ And you're cute ] She suddenly looked back at him and closed his eyes shut. She looked at him intently then took a breath of relief, " At least he didn't hear me ".
