Chapter 3: Rebirth

My eyes closed dreamily as tears fell upon my face. " Hui Qing don't you dare leave me! Hui Qing I'm sorry if only I knew my over-possessive love for you would make you jump off a 10-foot building then I would have signed that divorce paper. Hui Qing I'm so sorry, I should have never asked Grandpa to help me force you into this marriage I thought you would grow to like me but you didn't," Qi Yan cried. I closed my eyes and drifted off as I heard visually people calling my name, if I ever have a next life I want to remember this one and take revenge on those who hurt me, Luo Wen Ning, Fen Xiu Ying Your dead!

The next time I open my eyes was when I heard a voice saying " Since this is your wish then I will fulfil it, good luck,". My eyes blurred as I tried to adjudge to the lighting. My eyes focused on the midnight blue wallpaper ' ah isn't this the exact decoration of my old room in the Fu mansion?' pulling away from the curtain I was, even more, convinced that it was my room, even the study table was the same. My room was decorated in midnight blue wallpaper filled with light shining silver spots like stars. A king-sized bed with light blue bed sheets placed near the windows with a garden facing out. On the window, the shelf was a Chinese money plant*(3), Aloe Vera, a Jade plant and a peace lily. On top of the bed was a cabinet full of my outing clothes underneath was a little shelf filled with my reading books. The room was spilt with a curtain, on the side was my study shelf, with a cabinet on top for my school books and a table, a chair and the newest MacBook alongside some stationary placed on the table. The opposite was another clothing cabinet and shelf with clothes.

I got up and picked up my phone and I almost dropped it again. The date was 17/08/ 22 exactly 10 years before my death, I'm 19 now. Was that all just a dream? No way it's too vivid to be a dream. I pinch myself on my leg quickly and " Ouch,"

Not asleep, then did I come back before everything happened? Tomorrow would be my birthday if I did come back then does that mean God has given me a chance to change my fate? On my twentieth birthday, my parents would announce the engagement between Qi Yan. If that does happen then the truth would be that I was lucky enough to come back from the dead.

THE NEXT DAY:

Yesterday went normal as I had a peaceful day, nothing much happened but the dress I designed and sent someone to tailor was already here. With a few accessories also designed by me.

" Happy Birthday to you! Happy birthday dear Hui Qing. Happy birthday to you!" chorused my family members as they rushed into my room ( ma, baba*(4), ge ge, and mei) " Good morning to you too," I replies half sleepy "We will leave you to get ready," ma laughed. I brushed my teeth and took a look at the lilac dress that had arrived yesterday, beaning stationed in the corner of my room. The door pushed open as my so-called best friend sashed in along with some maids who had been ordered to help with dressing me and with my makeup " Qing Qing hey, wow this dress looks so good on you," Wen Qing spoke as I let my hair flow freely past my shoulder covering the shoulder straps.

My dress was lilac in colour and as I was quite tall for my age 163 cm, 5"4 reached up to just above my ankle with a belt adorned with lilac peony tied to my waist showing my curves.

If I remember correctly then Xiu Ying would get jealous and plan with my so-called boyfriend to make sure my reputation gest ruined in one night. I think they did use the old trick of drugging me and getting an old man to deflower me and having brought the party guest to catch me cheating, successfully making my boyfriend break up with me. Since they want that to happen how about we just do just that but change the partner to my fiancé? And nobody could say anything since we are engaged. And that boyfriend of mine needs to be dumped.

I applied light makeup on my face adding light brown coloured con matching my dark brown curled hair. This gave me a look of enjoying my youth, a breezy look. I think last time I had done very thick makeup thanks to my bestie but that made me a laughing stock, embarrassing my parents. Would this change mean I could rewrite the future I want? Would I be able to get my happy ending?

Not long later I left my room for breakfast as Luo Wen Ning joined us. We had a good old American breakfast laughing and talking merrily. I purposely unincluded Wen Ning and judging from her expression I believe she had a feeling she wasn't included as she scrambled off after having breakfast. Not long left until my birthday banquet.
