That night after Rose finished bathing, she stood in front of the mirror, staring intently at her reflection. At the same time, her mind was busy thinking about how to tell Evan what she knew about the explosion in Nova city.
To what extent did she have to tell Evan? Should she explain everything she knows or just talk about the outline?
Rose is worried that Evan would be suspicious if what she was about to tell him was too accurate. Rose's knowledge — about the people that appeared on the CCTV footage and the exact location of another bomb that was about to go off — was indeed accurate.
Rose took another deep breath at the thought that her husband would think she was crazy. Or, perhaps he would think of her as one of the terrorists who had converted to being a good person and divulged all the secrets of the organization.
She suddenly wanted to laugh at the thought that her husband would actually think so.
