Chapter 42: Six Hours with Me
A worn-out shoe...
Samantha stared, shocked that Emma could say such a thing. To Emma, Ethan Walker had been almost like a god. No one could say a bad word about him, least of all Emma herself.
Samantha was baffled, staring at Emma. "Emma, how can you say that about Ethan? It's all Emily's fault. She took your family and fiancé. Ethan had no choice! What happened to you? Why are you thinking this way?"
Knowing Emma's devotion to Ethan, how she'd even cut ties with her own parents for him, Samantha couldn't believe she was suddenly giving up.
Emma casually replied, "Nothing much, just had a revelation."
Samantha anxiously urged, "Emma, don't act rashly. After all, it's years of feelings..."
Yawning, Emma cut her off. "I'm tired, want to sleep. We can talk next time."
Samantha wanted to continue but saw Emma yawning and lying down, so she reluctantly left. Why did Emma seem different after returning to school?
Before, she always listened to Samantha. Now, she was repeatedly out of control, her attitude colder.
After Samantha left, Emma quickly got up and went to the bathroom. Logan should have heard Samantha's true colors by now.
Opening the bathroom door, Emma quickly invited Logan out. "Sorry, sorry! She's gone! I thought it was a dorm inspection! Scared me!"
Logan's tall figure leaned against the sink, next to a basket full of her clothes. On top, her strawberry-patterned underwear lay conspicuously.
Emma blushed, quickly covering it with a towel, then watched Logan's expression. But Logan's thoughts weren't easily guessed; his face showed no change, unreadable.
Logan watched her for a few seconds, then lightly stroked her chin, his deep voice echoing in the narrow bathroom, "Six hours, and I'll forgive you."
"Huh? Six hours of what?" Emma didn't understand.
Logan's eyes darkened slightly, his gaze becoming more intense. "Six hours of your time. Sleep with me."
Emma's heart raced. "Sleep with you? Here?"
Logan nodded. "Here. Now."
Emma hesitated, her mind racing with conflicting thoughts. Logan was possessive and demanding, but there was something undeniably magnetic about him. The tension between them crackled like electricity in the air.
Seeing her hesitation, Logan's hand moved to cup her cheek gently. "Emma, you've already shown me how much you care. Don't hide your feelings."
His touch was warm, his voice a mixture of authority and tenderness that made Emma's resolve waver. She looked into his eyes, searching for any sign of softness.
"I... I don't know, Logan. This is all happening so fast," she whispered, her voice trembling.
Logan leaned in closer, his lips brushing against her ear as he spoke. "Trust me, Emma. I need you now." His breath sent shivers down her spine, her body responding to him in ways she couldn't control.
Emma gasped softly, her hands instinctively reaching out to steady herself against his chest. She felt his heartbeat, strong and steady beneath her fingertips.
"Okay," she finally whispered, barely audible. "Six hours."
A satisfied smile tugged at Logan's lips. He took her hands, guiding her towards the bed. Emma's heart pounded as she followed, feeling a mix of apprehension and excitement.
Logan sat down first, pulling Emma onto his lap. Their faces were inches apart, and she could feel the heat radiating from his body. He began to trace his fingers along her arms, each caress sending tingles through her skin.
"Relax, Emma," Logan murmured, his voice soothing yet commanding. "Just be with me."
Emma nodded, her trust in him growing with each passing moment. She leaned into his touch, her body melting against his. Logan's hands roamed lower, skimming over her waist and hips, his touch both tender and possessive.
"Logan..." she breathed, her voice laden with emotion.
He captured her lips in a searing kiss, his desire and need apparent in every movement. Emma responded fervently, her arms wrapping around his neck as she surrendered to the moment.
Their kisses deepened, growing more urgent and passionate. Logan's hands slipped under her nightgown, caressing the soft skin of her thighs and eliciting soft moans from her lips. Emma arched into him, her body craving his touch.
Logan broke the kiss, pressing his forehead against hers as they both caught their breath. Their eyes locked, the intensity between them palpable.
"You're mine, Emma," he whispered fiercely. "I don't want to ever let you go."
Emma's heart swelled with a mixture of joy and fear. She knew the road ahead would be difficult, but in Logan's arms, she felt a sense of belonging she'd never known before.
"I'm yours, Logan," she whispered back, her voice steady despite the whirlwind of emotions inside her.
Logan lay her gently on the bed, his body hovering over hers. He kissed her deeply again, his hands exploring her with an intimate familiarity that made her ache for more.
As they lay together, lost in their shared passion, time seemed to stand still. The world outside their cocoon faded away, leaving only the two of them, bound together by their undeniable connection.
Hours passed in a blur of heated kisses, whispered endearments, and tender touches. Emma felt herself open up to Logan in ways she hadn't thought possible, each moment deepening their bond.
By the time dawn began to break, casting a soft golden light into the room, they lay entwined in each other's arms, content and at peace. Logan's fingers traced gentle patterns on Emma's skin, a small smile playing on his lips.
"You're amazing," he murmured, his voice filled with genuine affection. "Thank you for trusting me."
Emma smiled, her heart full. "Thank you for showing me how much you care."
In that quiet, intimate moment, Emma knew that no matter what challenges lay ahead, she and Logan could face them together. Their bond was unbreakable, forged in the fires of adversity and tempered by their unwavering love.
They drifted off to sleep, surrounded by the warmth of their shared connection, ready to face whatever the future held.
