Inside the Safe Haven

As they entered the Safe Haven, Sijun's eyes widened in awe. The interior was a stark contrast to the desolate exterior. The walls were reinforced with steel and concrete, and the air was thick with the smell of food and medicine.

Joon Woo led Sijun to the central hub, where a large screen displayed a map of the surrounding area. Various symbols and markers indicated the locations of monsters, resources, and other points of interest.

A figure approached them, dressed in a crisp white coat. "Ah, Joon Woo, welcome back. And you've brought a guest."

"This is Sijun," Joon Woo said, his voice neutral. "He's... helpful."

The figure's eyes sparkled with curiosity. "Dr. Kim, at your service. I'm the leader of this little community."

Sijun shook Dr. Kim's hand. "Nice to meet you, Doctor. This place is impressive."

Dr. Kim beamed with pride. "We've worked hard to create a safe haven in this chaotic world. But we're always looking for ways to improve."

As they spoke, Sijun noticed a group of survivors huddled in the corner, whispering among themselves. They cast suspicious glances at Joon Woo, who ignored them.

Dr. Kim followed Sijun's gaze. "Ah, yes. Not everyone is... fond of Joon Woo's methods. But he's been a valuable asset to our community."

Sijun's eyes locked onto Dr. Kim's. "What do you mean by 'methods'?"

Dr. Kim's expression turned serious. "Joon Woo's willingness to do whatever it takes to survive has... rubbed some people the wrong way. But I believe he's necessary for our survival."

Sijun's thoughts turned to Joon Woo's humanity, or lack thereof. Was he truly willing to do whatever it took to survive, even if it meant harming others?

Suddenly, a commotion erupted near the entrance. A group of survivors rushed in, panicked.

"What's wrong?" Dr. Kim asked, alarm etched on her face.

One of the survivors, a young woman, spoke up. "The zombies have breached the outer perimeter! They're heading straight for us!"
