Ch.6-House and family-

You could see the sparkles in Rii's eyes from a mile away. They finally felt good, like they could finally leave their bad life behind and start a whole new beautiful life.

-How did you know what your pronouns were? Said Rii, happy that they had a name and an identity. It was like a switch had clicked in Rii's mind, they were totally different from the scared little kid kiwo had seen just a while ago. Rii had found something they never had, confidence.

-I was born male so that helped. Kiwo said, happy to see Rii so excited. But some people aren't as lucky as me, just like you. They were born with the wrong body. Rii was surprised, there were other people like them.

They continued to talk and ask questions. They learned a lot more about each other. Apparently, Kiwo's favorite color is purple, he is 17 eras old [1 era= 2 years on earth](eras will be explained at a later time) , he was born in the shadow woods, the forest right behind his house, and had been taking care of it since his parents left for country named Kebni right next to Servonah(Where they are right now) when he was 9 eras [18 years], he hen went to see his parents for 1 eras[2 years] and returned to the house they built in front of the forest when he was 10 eras old [20 years].

Rii learned more about themself too, apparently, after searching their memory thoroughly, they remembered seeing documents about the saying they were born on the 12th of the 3rd month of the 4th eras of Shikai, the frost dragon representing the first knight of the 4 last eras. And so from what Kiwo said, Rii is 6 eras old [12 years], they didn't know who their parents were, after a lot of thought they finally determined that they were the Ane in their dream, and that they were somehow affiliated to someone called Leon, just like in that dream they had. Kiwo said that the Leon they called might be someone that cares about them and thus putting a bright smile on Rii's face,

"Would someone really be waiting for me?" Just that simple thought made Rii hopeful and excited to meet such a person.

Some nights later…

Rii was dreaming, in their dream was a house on top of a small mountain, the house's walls were made of white and light grey bricks and a beautiful teal roof was on top, there were lanterns and small wooden walls forming a path to the house.

The scene was dreamy and lovely but for some reason, the house gave Rii a gloomy and ominous feeling, like it was beautiful on the outside but horrible and dangerous on the inside. They heard a small noise coming from the far away house, it seemed like a child screaming their lungs out. Rii was scared like they knew what was happening, they rushed to the house and as soon as they touched the handle of the white door, they woke up, sweating.

It was morning, Rii got off of the bed they had been sleeping in. Slightly opened the door and walked out silently, they didn't want to wake up Kiwo who was so kind to them.

-Oh! Kiwo said, surprised, while opening the front door, dressed up in dark purple and leather to match the trees and dirt of the shadow woods,

"he probably went hunting and picking herbs"

Rii thought looking at the big bags in Kiwo's hands and back and the spell markings on his face, hands and legs.

-Good morning Rii, did you sleep well? Kiwo asked as he put his bags on the floor next to the kitchen table.
