Death? - Part 1

BOOM!

The moment their auras collided it was as if a miniature explosion had gone off as a wave of invisible pressure. Suddenly descended upon the laboratory, splitting it into two opposing colors, neon blue and verdant green setting off a domino effect.

That caused the world to quake as the space around them collapsed and the very air around them became acidic as if it had been contaminated by their energy.

"Just what the fuck are those two doing now?" The World Spirit of this world commented as it opened its eyes and used its heavenly gaze to pierce through the fabric of space and spied on George and Takashi.

'Oh... another trivial struggle for power; sigh, how boring,' The World Spirit thought as it yawned before closing its eyes and muttering, "Isolate."

Temporarily sealing the area around them and transferring them to someplace within yet outside of the world's influence. Before they could cause any more damage to the world's essence yet while all this was happening, our sleeping beauty Rose rested peacefully upon the operating table.

Oblivious to the fight, occurring in a separate dimension nearby due to her father going against her grandfather who wanted to reboot her. Ultimately attaining his goal of power and status at the cost of his youngest granddaughter's well-being.

However, just as their auras collided, Takashi suddenly slammed his palm upon the operating table.

Instantaneously sending Rose's body to an old friend for safekeeping as he took this time to create a clone, that would grant her precious time to grow and blossom.

While under the protection of her mother, for this might be the last time he would see her. However, before George could react and realize what Takashi was doing he used the laws of Space, Time, and Illusion to create a Fifth Star Hollow Illusion Array.

An upgraded version of the Seventh Star Demonic Temporal Space Array, which used a cultivator's mastery of laws instead of concepts as the focal point.

Allowing Takashi to transfer and substitute Rose's body, right under his father's nose as he had a higher understanding of those Laws compared to him. Plus, with the help of the array it made it easier for him to confuse the senses of a Tier 5 Creator.

Pop. Ding!

"Hmm? Just what is it now?" A woman wearing black lingerie muttered as she got out of bed and walked downstairs to go answer the door.

Tip. Tap. Tip. Tap.

"Hello, who is it?" asked the woman curiously as she yawned since as was not expecting any visitors at this time of the night.

"..."

'Just what is this, O Lord? Don't they see it is a little too early in the morning to be playing games at a time like this?' Thought the woman as she steeled herself and proceeded to open the door.

Creak.

"Hmm?" The woman could only say as saw no one not even a shadow of a person at her doorstep. Until she glanced down and saw a girl about the age of eighteen or so, curled up in a ball resting peacefully on the cold stone pavement.

Blink.

'… wait, would not this mean that...? Sigh, so the old man finally stopped hiding, huh? But Takashi is this honestly, the best way for us to meet?' The woman thought as she picked up Rose, brought her in, and placed her on the couch.

"Hmm, what an interesting way to use the Laws of Space, Time, and Illusion… truly every generation is better than the last, wouldn't you say so, Oh future me?" The strange voice asked suddenly startling Rin who was patiently waiting for his demise.

Yet, it was taking longer than expected to arrive as if…

"What do you mean by, 'Oh, future me?' Are you trying to say we are connected somehow by a string of fate?" Rin asked as he sat up and waited for the voice to speak again.

"Well, it's more complicated than that kid, but you are on the right route," The strange voice asked with a chuckle, "However, it seems you're not as bright as I once expected, but then again what can I expect from teen born in this false reality."

"Woah, now while I may at times not be fully aware of everything happening around me! I believe I am quite smart but anywho what do you mean by false reality?"

"Sigh, it's like I'm talking to a toddler again," The strange voice muttered as it signed, "But I guess since I've frozen time, I could entertain you as a friend works to grant us temporary asylum."

As Takashi and George continued to fight using their auras to try and gain the upper hand. Slowly, George began to realize something was not right.

"Oh, would you look at this! What a sly bastard, I have raised... but sadly, you cannot stop me so stop fighting and join the cause!"

"Never as I cannot just allow you to have your way with my daughter, Father as you see fit!"

"Haha, but were you not the one who notified me, the moment you disconnected her and gave me the green light to move forward with my plans!" George asked with a smirk.

"While that may be true that was before I knew you wanted to reboot her! Sigh, truly just how did Mother deal with you?"

"Ahh, you're funny, Takashi but enough with the games!" George shouted as he glared at his son, "Are you going to allow me to complete the procedure, or continue to stand in my way?"

"You should already know the answer, so why ask?" He replied as he took a step forward.

"Well then… goodbye for now, my son," George smiled with a hint of sadness in his voice as he clenched his fist and punched the air causing the dimension the World Spirit created to shatter as he muttered, "Rewind and Space Banishment."

Before walking away victoriously, leaving Takashi bewildered as this was not his father's style. Yet, before he could sneak attack, time began to rewind as a vortex suddenly appeared behind him and sucked him.

'Keke, still too young, to stop this old man! What a shame,' George thought as he shook his head and continued to walk forward with a light smile on his face.

Completely disregarding the array his son created that housed a pocket dimension, during the moment their auras clashed.

"Let's see here… even though he's pretty pathetic, he is among the few people I know who have a rare knack for Law Transformation. So just what did you create this time, my son?" muttered George as he began to inspect his son's latest attainments in the usage of Laws.

"Hey! I am not a toddler, okay, but a teen who recently turned fifteen, mister! Also, while today has been strange and quite confusing, I do not think some random voice in my head has the power to freeze time and grant me asylum from the Heavens."

"And what makes you so sure, I cannot! Haven't you looked around yourself and seen that everything is frozen in place even that bolt of puny lighting above your head?" The voice said as Rin began to calm down and look at his surroundings seriously.

'Hmm, maybe I was wrong… but still, why is it today the world seems to be breaking all norms of common sense?' Rin wondered even though he, himself was the biggest rule breaker in the Cosmos by just existing.

After glancing around, himself and noticing just how silent it was, as you could not even hear birds chirping, crickets trying to mate, or even the wind as it passed through the leaves.

"Common sense is only common to those who have yet to see what true sense is… for the boundaries that exist between the physical and spiritual are but pieces of paper that can easily be torn. However, I am not here to lecture you on abstract concepts, but to give you the chance of a lifetime, so are willing to embark on this journey and become what the world needs to begin a start a new era?"

"Sure, why not since it seems I got all the time in the world to entertain your bullshit, O Great Voice In My Head," Rin chuckled and just let nature take its course.

"Sigh, kids these days… well then good luck and I'll see you soon on the other side, ciao~"

"Huh? Wait, what do you mean by~" Rin was about to say before time resumed and a destructive, yet puny bolt of lightning found its target.
