Birth of the Chosen One

Three thousand years later...

In Multiverse Z: Sector 9 - Planet 6: (Shadow), a baby boy just conceived into our world in one of the best hospitals in the Universe, Zero Chi. Upon his birth, you could hear the roar of a Dragon and the cries of a Phoenix. Followed by the manifestations of various ancient races like Gods, Devils, Spirits, and Beasts.

Throughout the planet and the Cosmos until a grayish beam of light fell upon the child and sealed his Destiny. Confusing the wise and exalted Sages of Humanity, who were unsure if what they saw was real.

"Fuck, just which old senile bastard reincarnated now?!" One of the Seven Elders of the Occult complained upon hearing another Phoenix Cry and Dragon King's Roar for the third time this past year.

"Master, you are aware that this is the fabled era of Kings and Queens, right? So please refrain from acting like a grumpy old man as the other elders are starting to get annoyed with your antics." A young man in a raincoat said as he appeared behind his master and glanced at the chart in his hand.

"Tsk, as if I'll listen to the warnings of those spineless buffoons!" His master grumbled as he glanced at his disciple Nate and shook his head disappointedly.

"Master…"

"Tsk, just whose side are you on Nate? As it's now starting to seem like you are switching sides."

"I'm on your side master, however, if you keep up with this act of yours the other elders will report you to the Supreme Elder and you remember what happened last time that occurred."

"You do not have to remind me, Nate, as I'm aware the other elders don't like me and are vying for my position like hyenas. However, they will never get it as the Occult will never fall into the hands of those arrogant Ancient Clans."

"Let's hope it never does, master… so why did you call me here?" Nate asked as his master glanced at him mysteriously before snapping his fingers.

"You'll see shortly…"

"Hmmm, know this is interesting… so with the laws shifting in preparation for the Second Mandate and a war on the verge of commencing. I wonder just what your role in all this will be, young paladin?" The Gatekeeper of Forbidden Blood, Adam Dream muttered with a smile as he glanced at the sky, 'I wonder what the principal is doing… hopefully, she allows me to train the kid for a while as he would surely make this life a bit more interesting.'

He thought even though he knew such a thing was impossible due to his position and past actions, "Welp, I guess for now I can only hope." Adam sighed as he made his way towards an underground cavern to feed a pod of Fallen Chaos Lightning Clownfish.

Meanwhile, back at Zero Chi right outside the delivery room, a tall middle-aged Japanese man was pacing around nervously. As he waited for the signal to walk in and meet his firstborn child, after rushing from Sector 13 due to receiving an unexpected mission from Brotherhood.

An organization that could rival the Black Market at the last minute, which honestly could have been handled by any of the other thirteen gold-ranked members.

But now isn't the time to worry about such matters as any minute the doctor could walk out and give him the green light.

Swoosh.

"Sir, you can come in now!" Doctor Yin exclaimed as she walked out of the delivery room with a smile on her face.

"Thank you, Doctor Yin," The middle-aged man said wholeheartedly as he bowed as a sign of gratitude for everything she did for his wife and future child.

"It's nothing Adam just think of it as me repaying the debt, I owe you." She stated with a smile as it warmed her heart to hear such words.

"If you say so Yin, but for real thank you," said Adam before nervously walking into the room which held his child and fatigued wife.

That was a mix between beige and sky blue as machines could be seen scattered throughout the room. With most of them crowding, a singular hospital bed, where an exhausted woman could be seen holding onto her son for dear life as a light smile graced her pale face.

While, she tenderly gazed at the child in her embrace, who was trying to touch her long luscious brown hair that was dark near the tips.

Yet, not for long as his eyes glanced upon the stranger who entered the room with curiosity for a moment. Before looking back at his mother who laughed quietly in victory as she motioned her husband to come forward.

'Sigh… so he is a mother's boy, huh? Just my luck,' he thought as he shook his head and walked over to his wife, "So how are you feeling?" Adam asked as he got a better look at his son, who had a round face with big eyes, sword-like eyebrows, rosy pale lips, a small nose, and a narrow chin. Along with a head full of silverish-black hair that clung to his head like magnets and eyes that were as deep as the ocean.

"… I am all right, just a bit sleepy… however, where were you, Adam?" she asked as she stared at her husband with those amber-blue eyes that could cause a person to get lost in their beauty.

"Working," Adam replied plainly as he did not want to talk about it especially not after just finding out he had a son.

"Adam, you know one day you're going to have to retire from such a life." His wife sighed as she couldn't believe they couldn't allow him even a day to relax. Before sending him back to the field to work like a mindless machine.

"I know, however, let's focus on what we should name him first, Crystal?" Adam said as he changed the topic to something of relevance.

"I was thinking of naming him Rin Jasper Kurama but if you don't like it, we could always pick something else." She said even though he lost his right to name their child, upon not show up to provide support during the birth of their firstborn.

Simultaneously on a remote Federation outpost, one of the weaker Anomalies suddenly awoke from its confinement in confusion as it took some time for its eyes to adjust to the dimly lit room.

Where it was crucified on a cross that nearly sapped away all its energy after innumerable years of imprisonment.

"Úbi sum?" The Forsaken muttered as it glanced left and right, noticing the chains wrapped around its arms that dimly glowed.

Causing it to pause as a flood of memories bombarded it all at once, nearly taking all that was left of it not to shout in agony as tears streamed down its face. While it silently endured the pain of someone suddenly stabbing a thousand needles into your head. Fortunately, it did not last long as shortly afterward the anomaly started laughing as it repeated the words, "Sic tandem vicimus!"

Through labored breathing which awakened the once dormant desire that lingered within it. As it forced itself to use the last of its willpower to muster whatever strength remained to free itself of the restraints placed upon it.

"Ego Igor non tenebitur sicut bestia inclusa!!!" The Forsaken shouted repeatedly as it struggled to free itself from the chains that bound it to the cross.

Rattle. Rattle. Rattle. Crack. Boom. Thud.

However, eventually, it succeeded and with that the start of a nightmare that would haunt the higher realms for years to come. But for now, it was but a weakling once again and needed time to recuperate and regain its lost powers.

Before it submerged the Cosmos in fear and chaos, destroying the delicate balance between light and darkness.

"And so it begins," The Headmistress of Forbidden Blood said with a burning gaze as she looked outside her cabin window as if couldn't wait to see what the future had in store for them.
