There's a Snake in my Room

Walking towards his dorm, Nate ignored all of the strange looks he was receiving from other students as he passed. He couldn't help but notice the way most of them covered their noses due to the smell, their faces contorting in disgust. The hallways seemed to clear before him, students pressing themselves against the walls to avoid getting too close.

He eventually made his way back to his dorm, only to find Chloe lounging on his bed with a snake tangled around her neck and a bunch of strange vials spilled out over the bedspread. The scene was so unexpected that Nate had to blink a few times to make sure he wasn't hallucinating.

"Darling, you smell awful," she said, scrunching her face as the smell invaded her nose. The snake around her neck seemed to recoil slightly, its forked tongue flicking out rapidly.
