「Cultivation」

✤ Soul Node - Defined as a shine in one's soul and is the basis of strength in the Realm of the Transcendants. It is the foundation of every person's attributes (General strength, speed, reaction time, etc.). It can be thought of as "Levels" if we are being simple.

If one is aware of computer knowledge, it can be thought of as a System Unit. It is the capacity of how much a cultivator can produce.

✤ Soul Rank - It is the overall aptitude and quality of the soul—by sacrificing all of the soul nodes, one can improve their Soul Rank. Every cultivator starts with Soul Rank one—with the exception of rare individuals who are born with Soul Rank II.

✤ Dedicated Soul Node - Specialized Soul Nodes—are only able to exert their power for that specific purpose. One complete Dedicated Soul Node equals slightly below a normal Star Node. A half-unlocked one is equal to roughly 2 soul nodes.

✤ Star node - 4 Soul nodes that radiate a star—is slightly stronger than 4 separate Soul Nodes. In some instances(Like using a Star Breaker Pill), it has the chance to shine more radiantly, essentially making the star more powerful—increasing the strength by an additional node or two, without actually having more nodes.

---Think of it this way, a group of 4 is stronger than a separated 4 people. The star being more powerful means they have better synergy/teamwork---

✤ Soul Skill - Unlike Dedicated Soul Nodes, a Soul Skill can use Soul nodes. It can also use related Dedicated Soul Nodes. (e.g. Any Sword Soul Skill with Swordsmanship Node).

---Many people confuse Dedicated Soul Nodes with Soul Skills. They are different in way that Soul Skills are not limited and are generally equivalent to "Skills" in RPGs—while Dedicated Soul Nodes are similar to "Job Proficiency"---

✤ Soul Cognitive World (Soul World) - Normally forms after the 5th-star node. It is a plane of existence inside the soul of a cultivator. Its uses include: acting as a storage for Soul armor or anything that can enter the soul—or as a way to secretly have a conversation. One can enter the Soul World even when asleep—essentially allowing the cultivator to be awake while still resting.

Colors of the soul from lowest to highest (In terms of quality).

White < Green < Red < Orange < Blue < Violet < Golden < ???????? (And so on)

---By improving one's Soul Rank, the rate at which you unlock soul nodes (Including dedicated Soul Nodes) increases, and the color changes like above. Essentially, one will find that unlocking beyond the 10th soul node with a Soul Rank I is astronomically difficult—which is why most just attempt when they are at their 2nd-star node. It is not guaranteed that one will increase their Soul Rank after sacrificing their Soul Nodes—though the rate at which you unlock nodes will still increase even if you fail (It still pales in comparison with the unlocking rate of a Soul Rank II). It is to be noted that one Soul Node of a Soul Rank II cultivator is roughly equivalent to the strength of 1 and a half soul Node. This grows even further as one increases in Soul Rank---

---Color is just the indicator of the quality of the node, it is not exactly a fixed indication—for example, some green-colored nodes are purer than the rest (At most, green nodes can equal three times than white nodes.)---

「Equipment and Roles」

✤ Soul Armor - Can be stored inside the soul. It offers various effects such as protection, offensive capabilities, convenience, and so on. It was made because women deemed actual armor as "Unfashionable".

✤ Soul Artifact - Similar to Soul Armor—but cannot be stored inside the soul (There are exceptions). It is generally much more powerful and offers more varied uses compared to Soul Armors. (Voice amplifier, Heater, Soul Tracker, etc.)

---Soul Equipment can be a generalized term for equipment, whether inside or outside of the soul---

✤ Soulsphere - A type of Soul artifact. It consists of two artifacts—one is the server and the other is the signal. The signal points to the server, essentially working as a navigation item.

✤ Soul Inscriptions - this includes scrolls, parchments, talismans, etc. (Most of them are single-time use). They are consumables that can be used for various purposes. (e.g. Fire Scroll to teach a cultivator fire—so that they may learn to use their Soul Nodes to create fire.)

✤ Soul Seeker - a person who decyphers soul. Doing so will allow them to find the root causes of the problems in the soul—assisting them in recovery. Healing is not the only purpose of this job. They are also great consultants for leaders since they are well-versed with people—sort of like a psychiatrist or a philosopher.

✤ Soul Contract - A type of Soul Inscription. Used to bind the soul as the collateral should one disobey the Soul Contract. It is quite expensive, however.

✤ Soul Formation - It consists of multiple Soul Inscriptions. It can be thought of as a "Rune Magic Formation" in normal RPG terms. It has multiple purposes—protection, imprisonment, buffing, and many more.

「Status」

✤ Soul Fatigue - Happens when one overuses their Soul Nodes—essentially damaging their soul. At worse, it can lead to death.

✤ Soul Sickness - This happens when one does not rest or sleep. It slowly weakens the Soul and may come to a point where it is unusable—essentially turning one into a cripple or worse, death.

「Miscellaneous」

Exclusive to Naoki:

✧ Strong monsters unlock Dedicated Soul Nodes (Normally, people require Soul Inscriptions or hard work)

✧ Dedicated Soul Nodes can be enhanced even if it's not a strong monster as long as it's the same monster. (Normally, one needs to train—though it still applies to Naoki)

✧Naoki can sense emotions and memories from souls, similar to Soul Seekers.

✧Naoki can get a soul skill from pure soul fragments, not guaranteed though.

✧Because of his natural understanding of souls, he absorbs it greater compared to men. (Though it's not that much different from regular female cultivators.)

✧Naoki is not that strong at the moment(Chapter 11)—in comparison, Alicia of Verdant Zephyrs is 100 times more powerful than Naoki based on Soul Cultivation alone.

✧Naoki's Soul can understand the primordial language (Chapter 14)

✧Rejecting the effects of unprotected Soul Seeking can lead to death—especially more so with Naoki's ability.
