Kim Hyun-Jun look back at Min Ju-Eun where she sat at the dining table, he squinted his eyes and asked. "Could this be your son?." He waited expectantly to confirm that his instinct is wrong even though he doubts the possibility.

Yo-han smirk and replied, "Why will I be here if not, but why are you here?"

Kim Hyun-Jun still refused to believe Yo-Han, so he waited for Min Ju-Eun's response. His heart sank when she nodded in confirmation.

He paused for a while and said. "I never knew he would end up being your own child, now that you say it, I have always seen Mit-Eum in this boy..."

"Never mention my father's name you murderer!!!" Yo-han snapped at him angrily and almost dash forward to seal Kim Hyun-Jun's mouth with his fist.

"Mum, what are you doing with this man, why is he here?"

"If you won't explain what he is doing here then I will leave." Yo-han immediately turned to leave but Kim Hyun-Jun held his hand, stopping his motion halfway.

"You don't have to leave, if you are uncomfortable with me, then I will leave instead." Kim Hyun-Jun said and commenced his preparation to leave. The moment he got to Yo-Han's side, the two of them glanced at the others face and the hostility towards each other never left their eyes.

Min Ju-Eun shook her head hopelessly, she fixed her gaze on the two men who are having a glare battle. She summoned all her courage, breath out heavily before saying. "Kim Yo-han, show some respect to your father!!!"

There was abrupt silence for a long time. A pin drop audible silence.

The two men looked at Min Ju-Eun at the same time, having the same shock, should I say disbelief on their faces. It took them both far more time to decipher her words.

Their intense gaze almost bore four holes into Min Ju-Eun's body. When she could not stand it again, she snapped her fingers to bring their frozen characters back to life. "Why are you looking at me like that?".

"Mom, what do you mean?"

"Ju-Eun what do you mean?" The newly found father and son said in unison.

"What's it that you don't understand?, Yo-han this is your father Hyun-Jun." Min Ju-Eun replied then faced Hyun-Jun. "I was already with child then, I just couldn't tell you."

Yo-han was still confused. He never heard about his mother's previous relationship before his dad no, if this is true then it's his stepdad.

"Mom, I still don't understand what is going on, what about my dad, I mean your deceased husband." Yo-han suddenly lost all energy and he immediately grabbed a seat to relax on.

Kim Hyun-Jun's reaction was completely different from Yo-Han's, he was more composed, sad and happy at the same time. Happy that Min Ju-Eun gave him a son, a little sad about who the child turned out to be.

Yo-Han's question rang in his ears and he turned to look at Min Ju-Eun, waiting for her response. His ears became wide open to know what the confusion is about.

Min Ju-Eun sighed then explained. "Yo-han, as a little child, you needed to start school but I didn't want to get in touch with your father because your grandfather sent me out of the country and asked me never to return, you needed someone to stand as your father and Park Mit-Eum your father's half brother who was by chance working in country J at the time offered to stand as your father. Park Mit-Eum is your uncle not your father, I couldn't tell you all this time but I can't hide it now."

The news was too much to bare for Yo-han but he still tried to compose himself even though his facial expression betrayed him. His face had become as pale as sheet and his throat, bitter like bile.

"I never married Mit-Eum, we never had a relationship aside being good friends from college. He has a son of his own and he only stayed as a companion until he was ready to make his own family and he came back here." Min Ju-Eun turned to look at Hyun-Jun, " I have been a single mother since then and this boy here is your son. I came back only five years ago when Old Mr Kim died but since you already had a family, I decided not to disturb your peace."

The thought of how much Min Ju-Eun must have suffered alone during the time when he, Kim Hyun-Jun never even knew she was with his child dominated his mind. He had a family out of his father and Wife's scheming and they cheated Min Ju-Eun of her rights, They even sent her out of the country and asked her never to return.
