Lexus looked at the young man with complicated emotions, from his memories this guy was the main character of his novel.

But now he's yelling at him, aldough he don't have any memory of the novel he wrote,

he remembered some of the things about the main character as soon as he saw him.

For example the fact that this guy is extremely cunning.

He might look like a righteous Young Man on the surface but he's actually a scheming old man that took over a young mans body.

Based on the memories he should be an old demonic cultivator from a cultivator world that was at the end of his life span and used a demonic formation sacrificing half of the population so he can have a second life.

The only problem is he didn't set an anchor point in that world so the transmigrator in his world that was from here was accidentally included in the sacrifices therefore sending him to the original body of the transmigrator.

So now he's standing here in front of me

Just as I was standing there deep in thought the he spoke again.

"What, can't speak now that you're exposed? You probably only wanted to lure us out then take our supplies!"

I looked at him speechless, I don't even need food why would I steal your supplies? But I can understand it.

If I was a normal person in apocalypse I would also steal supplies but not to the point of killing innocent for it.

The red robe woman frowned upon hearing this and appeared to be contemplating, then after a dozens of seconds with a determined look she finally opened her mouth.

"I'm sorry but I won't be able to be part of your survivor shelter, we just met and I can't trust you."

I looked at her and then at the protagonist alex next to her.

"Damn is this the protagonist halo? I didn't expect to experience it first hand"

After hearing that we left, but after all that's the protagonist and as a protagonist that killed half of the population just to have a second life, he will definitely be harmful to me in the future, especially now that I met him I can feel the strong hostility from him.

"You three stay here and keep an aye out on them especially that guy"

I said as I  dropped my clones as soon as I turned a corner.

"Don't get discovered move less at day and move more at night"

After that we left in a different direction.

Driving for a few more hours we met several survivors but most of them have a hunter in their group.

It's seems that only group with hunters can survive in this new world.

And most of them doesn't wanna go with us, after all they already have protector so why Rick your life.

But it's not like we did not meet any ordinary people. Lexus thought as he looked at the five people behind him.

Two were man and three were woman

There was a husband and wife there with their two daughter so basically four of the five is family members, we met them at the basement of their house when we stopped by to look for a phone.

After all it's only been a few days since the rift appeared in the sky, there should still be signal and wifi.

I need the phone to look for map of the city and relevant information about this world.

Unexpectedly we met the father going upstairs to check if the situation is solved, but we cought him and intero- cough cough asked nicely if he's alone.

He tried to lie at first but it was obvious so we asked him more nicely and this time he finally gave in.

The other guy we met, we saw him peeking through a curtain and we pointed a gun at him and he immediately hid, when asked to get out of the building he tried to run away.

The only problem is I already sent a clone inside as soon as I saw him. Sa soon as my clone got to the hall way he saw the guy running away.

After that should be obvious, he fired warning shots and the guy stopped.

We also looted stores for food and water, and also a farmacy. We didn't know what some medicine is for so we just took medicine for common illness.

"Let's go back it's going to be night soon"

I said as I looked at the sun. That was about to set. I don't know why but we rarely saw monster at day we met some but those are zombies or were monster inside a building.

Is it like those in movies where monsters is more active at night and rest at day?

Whether it is I do wanna find out but that can be done by the three clones I left. So I don't have to risk the goods I just got.

"Grrrr..."

As I was deep in thought I Heard a low growling.

I immediately looked around but can't find the source of the growling.

"Grrrrr..."

It looked around again and saw a dog on top of the roof, it looked like a golden retriever.

"Stop"

I stopped the car, I haven't seen any pets or animal since the rift appeared maybe because they're loud so they were discovered more easily or they were hiding.

But this dog was loud and in an easy to spot place, aldough it in the second floor a nimble monster like the mantis I met at the forest can easily climb that.

I looked around but found nothing suspicious.

"You go in"

I told to one my clones, he nodded and walk in, the other three adults looked at him with horror as he went in alone.

"Sir isn't it dangerous to let him go alone inside?"

I looked at the woman she was above average in looks but already have some wrinkles in her face.

"He'll be fine, this is not the first time"
