Just That?

Now that he finally calmed down a little bit he noticed he slightly missed the soft and squishy feeling of her body, especially when he compared it to the rugged floor he was currently laying on that was digging into his skin at the moment. But getting him to ask her to hold him once again was definitely something he couldn't possibly see himself doing either. Not because pride or anything stupid like that though.It just felt weird and tingly to ask that question to her. Especially when he didn't know her all that well yet. Though thankfully for him he didn't have to do anything in the end because once she noticed he was okay and nothing was happening to his body and finally calming herself down she took the initiative herself to come over to him and place his body on hers once again.

"Ah..you didn't have to do that."

"It's fine its probably more comfortable then on this cave floor anyways and it's not like I'm against doing in the first place. If I was I wouldn't even bother so don't worry ok?"

"That's fine then I guess."

Though it was still embarrassing for him nonetheless.

But he still had one more question in the end. Now that they were in this kind of situation what would happen now. For the past two years he'd been spending his time together with that lizard and the whole time he treated her as a pet essentially and he even planned to bring her with him when he left the Myriad Locked Forest when he defeated the king finally and now that he had defeated the king he was still going to leave. That definitely wasn't going to change. He wanted to see the world for what it was and all the potential things and people he could find in it. Especially after reaching the goal he set for himself he was even more excited for what was to come but that brought up the question of what he would do with her.

He couldn't very well force her to come along with him anymore and he had no idea what her ideas or thoughts were at all. She had spent two years with him and saved so they weren't on the negative side but that didn't mean she would come with him would it? Though he wasn't going to lie to himself either and say he didn't want that to happen or that he found that idea unpleasant he just didn't know exactly how to proceed with it anymore and what if she rejected such a thing in the end. That would be saddening for him and something he didn't want to see happen. In short he was just afraid to know.

*sigh* "what to do."

enjoying the silence of the situation they continued staying in that position until he let out a big sigh as he got lost in his swirling thoughts of back and forth and yes's and no's. Until after a couple of minutes of looking pensive while holding him she finally spoke to him once again. Though she kind of looked nervous but he wasn't quite sure.

"Hey I've got a question..."

She probably knew what the answer was going to be but she still wanted to hear it from his mouth. While she had been in her lizard form she never could communicate directly with him. All she could do was listen to him silently as the days passed on. But now that she could transform after becoming a Solar ranked Astral Keeper that changed and she definitely wasn't going to let the chance go that she so desperately started to crave after a couple of months of being with him.

When she said that he felt her slightly tense her grip on him as if denying him the right to run away from her question or to not answer it. Though he didn't have any idea what she wanted to ask based on the way she was acting it probably was something serious and the least he could do was answer her because who knows, it might be his chance to push his desires forward as well. With that he looked back up at her face and into her shining gold eyes.

"What is it?"

"Well your goal was to defeat the king of this forest right?"

"yea it was, why do you ask."

"Well...."

Slightly pausing herself she seemed even more nervous then the start or even afraid possibly.

"What..are...you.. going to do...now?"

Seemingly struggling to get her question out it took her a couple of seconds until she finally pushed herself to say what she wanted to say. Though to him the question slightly surprised him but at the same time it also made him slightly excited. If he plays his cards right it could go in the direction he wanted hopefully. Though she could also deny him as well but all he could do was hope for the best.

"Well..after I defeated the king I wanted to leave this forest and begin exploring the world."

"O..hhh."

Looking slightly sad she only replied like that.

"All my life I've been essentially trapped in this small area with no one around me and nothing to see except the same old, same old and now that I've finally come this far I want to continue to grow as person and see what other things life has in store for me, while trying to meet people along the way that will see me for me and accept me for who I am and become the Warmth that I've looked for most of my life. Though..Aha you probably already know that already though..

Saying that he stared off into the tops of the tree's almost as if he wanted to be able to see what was on the other side of the dense leaves. Though as hard as he tried he still couldn't see what waited for him on the other side.

"Yes I do know a lot about you boy but things change sometimes and it wasn't like I was totally sure either seeing as how I could never ask for anything you wouldn't tell me willingly before and the biggest reason I wanted to ask was because even after all that happened to you after fighting the King I wanted to make sure you still thought the same as before.

Truthfully speaking she was right. A lot of people might of been massively set back by getting so injured and close to death and even if they did recover in the end some might even be to scared to keep moving forward and that was something she didn't want to see in him though she wouldn't be disappointed or sad with that choice either if he made it himself. But she couldn't lie and say it wouldn't make her sad to see his dream get crushed because of one unfortunate encounter.

"Heh..Just that isn't enough to stop me. I knew what I was in for when I started down this path. But thanks."

A small smile appeared on his face as he said that.
