~ Omni Pov, with Akira ~

Akira could be seen leaving the 'abandoned' building. Finishing his 'surprise' for Haguro...

'That was a little annoying, I gotta empty my inventory by tomorrow, no use in keeping the cameras, and the bodies...' Akira thought to himself.

*Rustles*

He walked a bit further, then stopped.

"*sighs* I know you're there Chiba! C'mon out, it's no use." Akira shouted, taking his time to slowly adjust his mask.

Akira didn't expect Chiba to stick around till the end, but it didn't matter much.

Chiba on the other hand, in the nearby bushes made his appearance. Akira noticed that the young man looked a bit shaken up, understandably, but he tried to keep his composure as much as possible. Akira didn't want to spook him any further than he had tonight.

Chiba was still in fact, a child... Even if he was a little used to 'this', world.

"... Inugami, is that... Really you? " Chiba asked. He heard that familiarity in the voice, and Akira was tone was one he could remember easily.

Akira said nothing. He then took off his mask to reveal his identity.

Chiba started to sweat a little after seeing his classmate's face, yet his body had relaxed far more than earlier.

"Glad you're a bit calmer than before, Chiba..." Akira said. His senses were now powerful/acute enough to pick up the subtle vibrations in the air, and even now Akira could hear Chiba's heartbeat calming down...

Chiba stood there shell-shocked... He had so many questions, but he didn't know where to start... After feeling the piercing stare of Inugami's glowing sapphire blue eyes. He breathed in, and out...

"What are you?..." He finally asked.

"...I'm human." Akira said immediately.

Chiba however, wasn't going to buy that.

"You can't be 'just' human Inugami, what you did earlier... I-I can't describe it!" Chiba said. He felt he thought getting jumbled in the presence of the youth before him. His aura that was prominent before was far more potent and he could tell, Akira had changed subtly.

It was as if his vitality was eating up his own...

However, it was now Akira's turn to respond.

"I am... Whether you want to believe it or not... Not all humans show off their power willy-nilly like Haguro, and Chiba. You would be surprised by how many humans that can do what I just did exist in this world..." Akira calmly stated.

It wasn't necessarily a lie either...

'Given that the noblesse verse merged with this one, there are a lot of super 'humans', some with potential... And some experimented on, well at least from my past memories...' Akira thought to himself.

Chiba hearing this was even more confused.

'There are more... Like, Akira!? Haguro was just an ant all along... No! 'We' were just ants all along... To think beings like this existed. ' Chiba thought incredulously.

"... What do you want to do now? What's your end game Inugami, I can't see why a person of your caliber would mingle with us normal humans... If the world knew your capabilities, you'd be a god amongst men... So what is it that you strive for with the power you have? " Chiba asked.

His curiosity had long overtaken his fear...

"I'm surprised that you seemingly forgot about the death of those criminals... Used to it" Akira said, genuinely curious.

"... I had to grow up seeing a lot of this, but it's a first that it was this extreme. I knew Haguro's men were trash, but they were trash amongst trash... I don't care about people who want to take my life... Now... Could you please answer my question earlier? " Chiba asked in the most respectful tone he could muster.

"I can't tell you that, Chiba... Remember that you're 'normal', a twig beings like me could snap with our very breaths alone... I'd suggest you go home and forget about this whole debacle... Pursue your dreams of becoming a boxer instead..." Akira stated, walking away. He wanted to test his new items a little before the night ended since it was quite young...

"WAIT!" Chiba shouted, his voice exasperated, containing mild irritation.

Akira stopped and turned to the young man.

"I'm sorry Inugami... You can't just expect me to just 'forget' about this. I can't unsee what I saw... You have to understand that, Akira. No man who follows the path of strength would..." Chiba pleaded.

Akira stood still, then turned to Chiba once more.

"If you feel this way now, then train. Train, and surpass Haguro. You'll need to become a lot more powerful than you are now... And maybe, just maybe, you can join my world..." Akira said smiling. He then walked away.

Chiba reached out with his hand but stopped...

He felt as if he should heed Akira's message.

But he asked one last question.

"Does... Ryuuko or Aoshika know about 'this'?"

"... No, not for now. I want them to stay out of this for now... Or better yet, forever. I would suggest you not tell anybody about this tonight, but you knew that... Still, even if you did spill the beans, it wouldn't matter anyway, since normals like you would think you're crazy. See you at school Chiba." Akira said, disappearing from Chiba's vision...

Chiba stood still, pondering about everything he had witnessed tonight, whether he was hallucinating or not...

'You are truly interestin', Inugami...' Chiba told himself, putting his hands in his pockets, then walking away...

'I'm glad that's over with. Now I can spend some time with my new goodies... But what should I even start with first? ' Akira thought. He took a little bit to decide what item he wanted to try first.

But he finally settled for one.

"Alright, I guess I'll try the katana first." Akira decided. He then willed the Katana from his inventory.

'The Arch-fiend blade huh...' he thought.

He analyzed the weapon within its sheath, seeing how intricate the design was...

'Beautiful... Truly beautiful. To think weapons with such craftsmanship could be made by mere mortals... Or, was it?... ' Akira thought. He could tell that this weapon was powerful. He could feel its ominous energy being expelled constantly as if it was alive. Wanting to rip and devour flesh...

It was three times heavier than the normal Katana. This meant it would pack a hefty punch with its sheer raw power to weight ratio alone...

The size to his knowledge, was far greater than the average Katana, with the norm being around 105 cm/41.3 inches, yet this monster was around 134 cm/53 inches in length alone.

And he hadn't even drawn the blade yet...

'It's time for the moment of truth...' Akira thought.

He slowly unsheathed it...

"Awesome..." Akira said in respect.

The power of the blade was emanating in his hand... Its carvings were emanating a violent red energy, while generating an even more intense amount of sinister red lighting around the hilt.

When he fully unsheathed it. The sparks now toned down a bit, yet still kept the energy emanating while he held it...

"This is extremely impressive..." Akira commented.

However, before he could continue. He received a notification...

[Would you like to bind this weapon to your soul? No side effects will be applied]

"Huh? Interesting... I can bind it to my soul... I don't see why not. Bind it!" Akira said. Shortly after, he felt a warm energy enter into his body then disappearing. His strength hadn't increased or decreased, but he felt another strange extension of himself being added.

[Congratulations for your first soul bound weapon. Soul bound weapons will grow with their master/wielder, since it is now a part of them. The user can now call forth the weapon at anytime/anywhere, and It will teleport to it's user's hand. The weapons cannot be used otherwise, unless authorized by the user}

'Not bad... Not bad at all.' Akira said, pleased at the sudden development.

Now it was time to test what he received...

He wasted no time, waving the weapon, he could tell... It's sharpness was on a whole other level than what he anticipated... He could literally see the very air particles being sliced by him waving the weapon around causally.

"Just how sharp is this thing?" Akira asked himself. He looked over to find a suitable target for his experiment...

"That should do." He said, walking over to the boulder.

He took his time placing the weapon on it, with no pressure on his side...

*SZWISH!*

A sharp, crisp sound of both wind and lighting was made, and to his surprise, the weapon went through the boulder like it was butter, but he would feel a bit of resistance with at least that...

"I've gotten my answer... It's unrealistically sharp... I need to be extra careful with this bad boy." Akira said to himself.

Yet, he smiled. That sound it made was satisfying to him. He wanted to test it out a bit more. And so he did.

Since he had never practiced with a weapon before, this should be a good place to start.

He got into stances he could remember from his time studying different martial arts, and even games.

*SZWISH!*

*SZWISH!!*

*SZWISH!!!*

Countless air piercing sounds were made. Akira had been swinging it for the last 10 minutes cutting down the surrounding forest. Amazed at how potent the weapon really was.

He finally stopped. Getting the hang of all the stances he had made and replicated.

"Yeah, this my new main... Now unto the next reward... The curse seal. " Akira said satisfied.

He looked into his inventory to see a runic like black tattoo item in it. Clicking on the item he received a prompt.

[Where would you like the seal to be placed?]

'That's nice, at least it won't be in an obvious spot. But, where should I put it? Should I keep it canon and let it stay on my neck? No, that would be too revealing... Why not on the back of my shoulder? I think that should be fine for now.' Akira thought to himself.

"Place it behind my shoulder" Akira commanded.

In a moment, he felt a burning sensation...

"*Tch!*"

Akira clicked his tongue. The pain was hefty, but due to his high tolerance he managed somewhat easily...

After a minute of waiting, the pain subsided.

[To activate the seal, concentrate energy towards it. To deactivate the seal, cut off the energy supply towards it]

Akira did as was instructed. He sent energy into the seal.

He then felt an odd sensation within his being, as if his energy was being multiplied, but to an extremely minor degree... but with his level of control due to his six-eyes, he could feel the difference, no matter how insignificant it may be...

Looking around on his body. Akira was puzzled. He remembered that the seal would spread around the user the more energy was dumped into it, however that wasn't the case here...

'Could it be that the seal is too weak at the moment to cause changes to my body on a physical level?' Akira asked himself.

With such a low amp it gave. It was the most logical conclusion he could come up with...

'At least I don't have to focus on charging the seal... I'll keep it on for the night. That should bring some changes for me given its nature.' Akira thought.

He placed his new weapon in his inventory, ready to call it a night...
