"A will... Of its own?" Daiko repeated the question.

"Yes... I suspect that is the case, although I didn't think I would ever see such a thing in my lifetime." Pybara stated.

Daiko furrowed his brows at the remark.

'That's impossible... How can Ki have its own will? Why was that never told in the original story?... This must be the reason why God smiled eerily, he must have planned this...' Daiko thought exhaustedly.

"Ok... Could you elaborate on the matter for me?" Daiko asked, still puzzled.

"... I don't have much knowledge on the matter, but I will tell you about what I do know..." Pybara said, folding his arms behind his back...

"... In the universe, there have been extremely rare cases of beings having to be born with ki with, 'wills'... I've read that these beings could possess far more power than those without it. Some Beings could be born with wills that allow them to be extremely calm in nature, immense ki control to a godly level, fire, frost, 'charming' attributes, physical growth, and more..." Pybara said, turning towards Daiko.

He then continued.

"It sounds as if they have a mind of their own, but that isn't the case. Wills are better categorized as 'affinities'. Think of fire. No matter how much you want to be like water, it will never be possible because your ki is not like that by nature, it is like changing a constant of the very universe or trying to make a being that needs oxygen to make itself not need oxygen. It will never change. Only manipulated..." Pybara finished.

'That's interesting... Thankfully I don't have a power that can think for itself, but one that has its natural affinity' Daiko thought, noting everything.

"... That's interesting... So that means people will have a natural affinity towards various things, and given your examples it could be anything..." Daiko said.

"Yes, you are correct... However, over the millions of years of existence, the book has only reported less than 100 beings with 95% having one will and the rest only two wills at most, if I remember correctly..." Pybara added.

'Damn...That means they are ultra rare, isn't this probability in the septillions to 1 in the entire universe? That's... Ridiculous' Daiko thought.

"But... Your energy... I've never seen one so violent and chaotic... Still, may I see your power for a moment?" Pybara asked.

"Hmm... Sure..." Daiko agreed.

He then unleashed a fraction of his strength...

'Amazing... A mortal has this much ki yet hasn't stepped into godhood... Fascinating...' Pybrara thought, almost blown away by the power he was feeling...

But the king quickly went back to what he was supposed to do. He then quickly analyzed the intricacies of Daiko's energy, even dawning a worried expression...

"Yes... I can tell... The will of your ki seems to be tied to chaos, wrath, strength, and growth... For one person to have four sub-attributes... It's simply unfathomable... Daiko!" Pybara said in a serious tone, looking him straight in the eyes, then he walked closer, gripping Daiko's shoulders firmly, surprising the young saiyan...

"You might, no. You are the only being in existence to have this many wills in their ki... " Pybara finished, sweat coming from his forehead.

'So that explains why the original Broly was such a monster... He must have had these 'attributes' for his will...'

"Wait a moment... That's nice and all, but do I have any hope of totally controlling this power?" Daiko asked.

Pybara then closed his eyes...

"No... It isn't achievable, having a chaotic nature means you won't have total control, plus the wrath affinity, means that it is impossible. I'm... Sorry." Pybara finished.

"It's fine... A part of me came expecting that answer... But. I would still like to learn your techniques..." Daiko responded, trying to switch the argument.

"Well, since we are here why not start the lesson now?" Pybara offered.

Daiko nodded with a smile.

"Well, your first lesson is spirit control!" Pybara said with a smile.

~ Daiko's Pov ~

Pybara left me by myself and instructed me to keep myself balanced on the stalagmites that are in the cave.

Spirit control is simply a more refined version of ki control, a much, much better version.

He instructed me by giving me a manual to learn from...

Using the perk of the system I could learn the contents of the book without having to do anything, so that was it.

Thankfully.

So I then sat down on the stalagmite and began meditating, whilst sitting completely still. Clearing my mind and visualizing my ki paths...

However, it didn't take long for me to realize the vast difference in both techniques...

"Shit... No wonder it's so much better... Regular 'ki-control' just makes you keep/store the energy in your body with a certain amount of well, control... But this makes those ki pathways much more intuned with how the structure of the body, not only that, my ki pathways are supposed to be much more refined and dense with the use of this technique...' I said to myself in realization.

I could have achieved this if I strive to improve my regular control, but I was more focused on not raging out in my forms... Such is life...

"Alright... Now slowly condense my chi..." I began condensing my chaotic ki, and thankfully with my high level of mastery, I could do it without much strain...

Without me knowing hours had passed

"Now to tune it with my physique..." I then slowly began moving my ki pathways...

'No wonder he took so long to learn it... It's awfully painful to set your ki pathways correctly.' I thought with a bit of grimace...

Still, with slight discomfort and more hours of struggling...

I then opened my eyes to feel a massive difference with my ki...

"So this is what Vegeta felt, I feel much more complete all..."

I now realized that my strength hadn't increased. Not in a natural sense, my energy felt almost 2 times stronger than before, and my control has improved significantly too...

*Step...*

*Step...*

Daiko turned his head around slightly, hearing footsteps behind him...

"I came to check on you... You have been down here for the last 12 hours..." Pybara stated.

However, as if he saw a ghost, his jaws dropped...

"D-Daiko... Have you already learned the technique!?" Pybara said surprised.

"Ah yes. I've gotten the hang of it, I just need a bit more time before I can master it... Is there an issue?" Daiko asked, genuinely curious.

"Ah... It's nothing, do you wish to eat?" Pybara asked, however, he was thinking something completely different...

'Is he some sort of Super prodigy? How did he manage to learn spirit control in less than a day?' Pybara thought.

On another hand, he also smiled excitedly at what was to come with his new student...
