Then Charles became a wanderer, since he didn't have the guts to go back home and show his father how he was stuck at 6 stars.

Charles knew that it's almost impossible to raise one's potential unless someone gets a heavenly treasure like which was obtained by Jimmy horten!

Yes, Jimmy obtained a heavenly treasure - a heavenly fruit by the end of the first year and raised his potential from 8 star to half step 10 star.

He obtained it in a cave in a barren mountain range near the capital.

Him blurting out the information about the location and effect of fruit in excitement was also the reason why he was punished by his family at the start of second year and was missing for 3 months from the academy.

Charles registered myself as an adventurer and started conquering dungeons and Wilderness for money and resources to travel all around the Empire.

He somehow became an {S} rank adventurer after 6 years of continuous quests while increasing my reputation while traveling everywhere in the Empire and in some cases even other kingdoms.

Reaching {S} rank was a marvelous achievement for a 6 star, as 6 star has minimum strength for {B} rank and can reach {A} rank with experience and high grade skills. Maybe my high grade Sword Art and talent for combat helped me in reaching {S} rank.

During these years he didn't broke his contact with Sam, although they weren't as good friends as before they were still pretty close to each other.

He often exchanged letters or used magic orbs to video contact Sam even after he graduated from the academy. He learnt various news and rumours from people which he sometimes used to confirm through Sam.

But Charles wasn't just focused on all this during these 6 years, he traveled various ancient runes and barren lands in hope to obtain an opportunity somewhere.

Fortunately his wishes were listened to and he stumbled upon an old underground runic site on his last adventure.

The site was hidden so well inside the large forests of wilderness near draconian mountains that Charles may not be able to find it again after leaving here.

Charles went inside and faced a series of tests which checked his combat prowess.

Charles first came up against a stone golem whose all body was inscribed with runes which looked like formations. It looked powerless at first but as Charles came close it gave off an aura of peak 6 star exactly the same like Charles.

With a sword in one hand, the golem looked menacing to say the least. After a pretty rough fight Charles defeated the golem while suffering minor injuries.

This golem was by far the hardest opponent of all the 6 stars or {B} grade opponents he had faced so far.

After defeating the golem and moving forward Charles came across another golem which was exactly the same like the previous one but with an aura of peak 7 stars.

After an extremely taxing fight, Charles came out victorious. This was the most toughest opponent he has ever faced, even that {S} grade beast wasn't that difficult.

After some tests which checked his character, determination and willpower, Charles finally came across the final room.

Inside the room was a small box which looked extremely extravagant and extremely simple at the same time. It was a simple wooden box which can be made by normal Carpenters but the wood seemed like a treasure in itself giving it an extravagant aura.

Inside the box was a small ring which was just the perfect size for Charles after he wore it on his left index finger.

After that nothing seemed to happen.

He had already tried to infuse his Mana in the ring but nothing happened so Charles couldn't do anything other than simply forgetting about it.

He was already 25 by now and had just received a letter from his family asking him to return to the estate and have himself officially titled as the next baron of the fief.

Charles was a little sceptical about taking the formal duties of the estate at such a young age since a 7 star cultivator like my father can easily live for a hundred and fifty years, and even I who has at least hundred years of life remaining, 25 is still young.

But after Charles's grandfather's unexpected death which is suspected to be an Assassination, his father became paranoid.

And wanted to announce Charles as the official successor of the estate so that he won't face any issues even if his Father dies early.

After that Charles decided to give up and return home since he was already at his peak and had no hopes of becoming stronger in the future.

Even during all his travels to search for treasures to become strong all he managed to find was a ring which had no practical use.

Charles had a feeling that maybe the ring was special so he decided to just wear it after all even if it's not something special, it was still beautiful enough for even the royal family to covet it.

So Charles can just wear the ring as a jewellery even if the ring is ordinary.

Charles returned home and after apologizing his parents for not coming back except for a few times for short intervals in all these years, he started studying various topics such as fief management, Alexander's family's estate's geographical location, population history of Empire and so on.

At 25 of age he was officially named as the Baron of Asher ( Asher is the name of the territory of Alaxender's barony). Asher means blessed but I really doubt that as our family is suffering from misfortunes from centuries ago.

After successful coronation he was officially named as baron of Asher and was married to a nearby viscounty's young miss. Their marriage talks have been going on for many years as they were betrothed to each other at a pretty young age.

At 26 they were still childless and the wife was blaming her husband Charles for the reason of infertility whereas Charles was properly healthy and there was no problem with him.

At the same time Charles found out Alsoma leaves in his wife's secret private storege. Alsoma leaves were known to be useful in preventing pregnancy. Not only that but he also found out that his wife was cheating on him for another nobleman.

They had a huge fight about this and their family fell apart.

Just a week later our Stark Empire was attacked by our neighbouring Simon Empire.

The Simon Empire attacked in full force with complete intention of obliterating the Stark Empire. And to their surprise the Simon's were much more powerful than them despite both the Empires being on a pretty equal level in population and land.

If not for the friendship between Stark Empire and 2 human Kingdoms and also the treaty between Stark Empire and Beastmen's Empire which sent their armies to the Stark's aid they would have been completely destroyed but even than the Simon Empire didn't lost and with the help of Elven Empire fought on equal footing and even gained advantage after 2 years of fight.

The Emperor of Simon was no fool, he knew that people with high potential and talent can be born even in commoners, so where in Stark Empire where commoners were suppressed because of bloodline supremacism, The Simon Empire was constantly searching for people with high potential among commoners and giving them a chance.

Stark Empire had only one 10 star which was Sam who now became a Count as he is the strongest in the Empire whereas Simon Empire not only had their crown prince but also another commander as a 10 star.

Their 10 star commander was also one they found out about 7 years ago when he was just a slave and provided him with resources and techniques of top class to help him.

Simon Empire also had the support of Elven Empire since they abolished Elven slavery, Unlike the beastmen Empire which was only providing Stark Empire minimum reinforcements due to treaty, The Elven Empire was sending their full force to destroy them.

The elves hated Stark Empire because elves slavery was pretty common in Stark Empire beacuse of the extremely beautiful faces and bodies of Elven girls. They were often kidnapped and sold to nobles as a plaything.

There was even a rumor of the Elven princess being kidnapped and almost rapped by a Marquise of the Stark Empire.

After 2 years of fighting, suddenly the Horten family betrayed the Empire and that led to constant defeats of the Stark Empire.

After 2 years even Sam was killed by the joined forces of Simon Empire's crown prince and 10 star commander.

Soon after the death of Sam, the Alexander's were attacked by full force leaded by a 8 star major.

After fighting to death and having all his family killed in the hands of the enemy, Charles died at the hands of the enemy major but even Charles didn't notice that just before his death a small streak of blood flowed through his left hand's index finger and touched the diamond on top of the ring he got from his last adventure.

After absorbing the blood the diamond above the ring soon started shining but Charles had already closed his eyes so he didn't saw that, Just a few moments later Charles breathed his last and died on the battlefield.

Hello guys, It's been 8 chapters already but there hasn't been a single review, comment, power stones so far.

Even if the story has some problems PLZ tell me about them in comments so that I can improve my story as I am just a new, immature author.

All of you combined get thousands of power stone daily so what's the problem in giving me a few.
