Adventure?...

Once they got packed they headed out to look for a village or some type of town to settle in for a while on the way Elizabeth would ask questions about how they would join the Academies.

"Elizabeth I don't know if we're even old enough to so stop asking"

'truth be told Dylan didn't want to join any academy'

"aww, well we need to find out then, Right?"

"Well duh! what else would we do?

the little trip took about two days to get to a town. while walking down the street they coincidently walked by a middle-aged man who sold animal hide and other sorts to merchants and happened to spot some stuff that seemed valuable to merchants.

"hey, kids where you headed to?"

this time Elizabeth took this opportunity to speak.

"well you see kind sir, we got lost in the forest when our parents got killed so we're wandering around"

( that part is true but it happened when they were young before they were captured and experimented on)

at this time Dylan didn't want to talk, so he placed down their stuff and spoke before walking away.

"Elizabeth ill leave this stuff to you, sell it for a good price ok."

"wait, hey boy how did you know I was a merchant, I thought I dressed the same as all the rest of the ordinary people"

Dylan smirked.

"you did but, you know I can hear to everybody doesn't speak formally to others just listen to everyone, there are other flaws too but got to keep some secrets"

"all right, Elizabeth this merchant want to buy some of our stuff so take this opportunity to learn about this"

"k, I'm going to look around town"

Dylan walked around town and spotted a group of adventurers talking and out of the six he spotted a certain girl that was quiet and had this majestic aura around her, was looking at her from the corner of his eye when she locked eyes with him her expression changed immediately. Dylan was confused about how she knew he was looking at her and especially why her expression changed!

" I got to get out of here"

Dylan started to use his ice mana and encase himself with it and dematerialize himself somewhere else. Dylan successfully managed to do it but got this headache and rested against an alleyway wall.

"you can come out miss"

she suddenly jumped down from the building and landed nimbly on the ground.

"Hey kid what's your name"

"Why does it concern you?"

"it doesn't but id like to know"

"Dylan, my name is Dylan"

"well, Dylan would you like to join me and become an adventurer"

"I don't think I'm fit"

"I think you are, earlier I casted an illusion on you but you handled it perfectly, secondly you spotted me I followed you when others couldn't, so I think you are fit for it"

'she's got a point, but I have to make sure someone will watch and care for Elizabeth'

"fine, but I have to make sure my friend will be fine by their selves"

"fine by me, meet up with me and the random adventures at town square"

Dylan walked for a few minutes and finally saw Elizabeth and the merchant still squabbling to sell the stuff.

"young miss I will give 950 silver for them and that final"

"fine by me"

"here's the silver miss"

"Dylan your back on time"

"yeah"

"hey merchant can I talk with you"

"sure lad"

they walked to the back of the alleyway, the merchant looked nervous and Dylan saw that so he spoke in a hushed and hurried manner to the man.

"hey this might sound like a lot but could you take Elizabeth in for me and care for her like a daughter
