Curse Academy

Curse Academy or Katára naós ('Cursed Temple') In the old tongue of the Cursed World was a place of learning established at an unknown date. It predates any of the established "Nations"created by humanities will to cultivate and grow the powers they believed were given to them by a higher power ('sins'). Many scholars believe the castle was built by cultists rather than learners to worship their new abilities in a manner one could only refer as "Hedonistic"

The Crimson hue that surrounds the walls of the castle is a grave reminder of what happens when learning is taken too far and following the path of those "Cultists" leads to destruction from the blood engrained in the stone exterior.

As time grew, Curse Academy stood still with the first major Nation, Superbia, making accommodations for the place of learning, now known as a temple rather than a place for cultist to gather. Those who wished to call themselves "Masters" and openly teach the craft would be put through life or death Trials to prove their dedication and worth to the Temple. This would establish the key traits that shaped the environment for Superbia and the Academy itself. Axía and exousía ('Merit and Power').
