"It shouldn't be that hard, right?" Lu Xifu said and Yun Meiyi's eyes snapped to look at him in confusion. But his eyes and composure were so nonchalant that for a moment it felt like she just had an illusion.
But it wasn't an illusion. Lu Xifu fleetingly gazed at her and his lips turned up on the corners in amusement. "Don't daze around, I did ask you."
"What? Can you even frame your words properly? Sometimes you didn't seem to be asking instead you sound like you are certain about your assumptions." Yun Meiyi said softly so that no one heard them. Although where she was standing with him, she hardly think anyone could hear their conversation. But still she was willing to be cautious.
