Without hesitation, Allen lunged at Augustus, closing the distance between them in a flash. Augustus, anticipating the attack, deftly twisted his wand, conjuring a swirling barrier of shredding wind that encircled him. The fierce winds howled around Augustus, creating a nearly impenetrable defense. Allen's blade, no matter how forcefully he swung it, couldn't pierce through. With each strike he gave, the blade skidding off the barrier, unable to reach Augustus.

Realizing his efforts were futile, Allen pulled back. He knew he had strategies that could counter the wind, but employing them now would be unwise. He needed to conserve his stamina and mana for the upcoming battle against Percival in the final. With this in mind, Allen chose a more patient approach, deciding to bide his time. He knew Augustus couldn't maintain the wind barrier indefinitely—it would eventually dissipate, and Allen would strike in the right moment.
