After slaying the monstrous kelp creature, Finn found himself confronted by an unexpected adversary. His heart raced as he beheld a peculiar sight: a white lizard, lurking just meters away, its sinuous tongue darting out with alarming speed in an attempt to ensnare him. Swiftly, Finn raised his shield, warding off the predatory strike, its tongue getting firmly stuck to the shield as it tried to pull it in.

Unfortunately for the hapless lizard, it had unwittingly targeted the wrong slugcat. With remarkable ease, Finn exerted his strength against the reptile, nearly dislodging it from the wall. However, sadly for Finn the lizard released its grip on the protective shield. Nevertheless, this setback did not deter Finn in the slightest. Without missing a beat, he swiftly retrieved a gleaming spear from his inventory and charged fiercely at the formidable lizard.

The fight was as expected not great as finn bullied the lizard who's only real real skill was its ability to sneak attack but with that now stripped away Finn easily dispatched it with a simple shield bash and stab to the chest.

'Damn its been a minute' Finn contemplated, his gaze fixed upon the notification for experience points. It had indeed been a considerable stretch since he had last accrued any, a rare occurrence in recent times.

'I really should try harder for exp' Finn thought as he observed the spearmaster sprinting ahead, his mind abuzz with contemplation regarding his own course of action. In a moment of deliberation, he chose to halt momentarily, allowing the spearmaster to increase the distance between them. It was then that he keenly acknowledged the urgent necessity to replenish his dwindling food supplies. The recently defeated white lizard emerged as a viable solution to his predicament, and he was resolute in his determination not to squander this precious opportunity.

With swiftness and precision, he deftly secured the lizard within his inventory, ensuring not a morsel went to waste. Only after securing his newfound sustenance did he resume his journey. Yet, scarcely a couple of steps later, his keen eyes caught a fleeting glimpse of something crimson in his peripheral vision. However, when he turned his gaze towards it, the enigmatic red entity vanished as swiftly as it had appeared.

'Well shit' Finn's mind slowed as he found himself frozen in place, a creeping sense of horror coursing through him. It dawned on him with chilling clarity that the crimson blur from before was none other than the overseer of the seven red suns—an entity also known as Iterator, a title laden with profound significance.

'I hope nothing comes from him knowing of my inventory' Finn pondered as he maneuvered, his every step a calculated effort to bridge the gap between him and the spearmaster. The spearmaster, in his relentless pursuit of speed, appeared to be teetering on the precipice of self-destruction. Finn couldn't shake the growing concern that, at this breakneck pace, the spearmaster might be endangering their own life in order to complete the mission.

{Hey Finn im back!} Suddenly, Finn's train of thought was abruptly interrupted as he glanced upward to behold the sight of his friend Echo soaring gracefully towards him. Echo was approaching from the direction where the skilled spearmaster was sprinting.

{When did you leave?} Finn asked confused

{I left while you were fighting that white lizard and i went to go scout ahead} Hearing his friend's words left Finn utterly speechless. However, driven by an innate sense of urgency and a burning curiosity, he swiftly mustered the courage to voice the pressing question that had been lingering in the depths of his mind.

{Whats up ahead?} Finn asked waiting for a answer from Echo who wasted no time telling finn his findings.

{The area's aheads are mostly empty except for a few white lizards and alot of water which looked filled with leeches} Hearing Echo's words, Finn sighed lightly, his concern that were previously mounting now slightly shrunken as he thought about the seemingly suicidal spearmaster. While he didn't want to jump to conclusions, he couldn't afford to take any unnecessary risks. With that in mind, he instructed Echo to proceed ahead and provide backup for the spearmaster in case of emergency.

*30 minutes later*

Finn, filled with a sense of worry, Finn found himself unable to catch up to SM's pace during their journey. He relied heavily on Echo, who diligently guided him along the path SM had taken. Fortunately, to Finn's immense relief, SM effortlessly dispatched any lizards they encountered. With remarkable ease, SM ensured that not a single lizard escaped his deadly precision. Moreover, Finn made it a point to collect the lifeless bodies of the reptilian foes SM swiftly overcame, diligently filling his inventory with their remains.

'Damn He's fast'

Finn struggled to keep pace, his frustration growing as he found himself unable to bridge the gap between himself and SM. Despite SM's deliberate avoidance of rapid movements, there was an uncanny quality to their pace, just swift enough to keep Finn trailing behind. The feeling of being unable to draw nearer nagged at Finn's thoughts.

However, his perseverance paid off when SM chose to take a break at a shelter positioned several levels below. This gave Finn the opportunity and finally closed the distance as he also entered the shelter behind SM who he knew he needed to talk to.
