"Hey Daire! Can you take care of this customer please?" My friend, Tristan asked. 

"Sure!" I said back to him.

I work in a jewelry shop in Paris. Mostly many customers come by everyday to buy rings for their beloved ones. It's so loving to see their smiles on their faces when they give it to them..

"Hey Tristan And Zoey, I'm going to the backroom for a little bit"

"Of course, but make sure to come back quick" Zoey said. 

I opened the door and gazed at a photo.

I closed the door gently and after a few seconds, I started tearing up a bit while closing my eyes. 

I miss him.. I miss him very much. 

Memories were flowing through my head again. I keep on thinking how Leon, my ex boyfriend, my money took and fled.

I was Basically rich in the past. He dated me just to take my money. I was a little relieved how he became injured anonymously. Oh God knows where he is, and what he is doing, but if I ever see him again.. only God knows the amount of times I wanna kick his ass.. *sighs* I better get back to work.

● AFTER WORK ●

It's strange, not many people are on the streets.. it would be full with people around this time. Oh well.

As I was walking, I heard a loud scream coming from a alleyway.

But when I wanted to check out what it was, a quite old man charged me with his fist.

I felt fear. A similar fear I already felt before. Luckily, a male knocked that old man out.

It all happened so fast!

"Are you okay?" He asked worryingly.

"Uhm.. yes. Thank you" I said, 'not knowing what to say else'.

I turned around and walked fast away.
