Shouted Axel from the top of his lungs as he fell down on the well-maintained sand of the training floor.

45 days had passed since Axel started to take the hell training. Yes, that was what Axel named it. It was literally hell for him to complete all of them within 10 hours. He had never done a shred of training in his life, so the first week was extremely intense. He started to take a deep breath as his chest ached from the shortness of air in his lungs.

The agility training included rapid dodging movement from the obstacles that Lucifer had placed and the strength training included a series of punches and kicks on the training dummy. It was tiring.

But he had finally completed it with 15 days to go.

Axel tapped on the reward function to know more.

[Weapon I: The host can choose any weapon he likes and the system would reward it.]

"Isn't that awesome?" he gasped. "What is?" asked Lucifer.

"I got a reward, which lets me choose any weapon that I like. I wonder what I should choose?"

"Well, it is not something that I can divulge. Choosing a weapon is a sacred thing and only you would not what is the best fit for you."

Though the system had mentioned that it would only be giving general information and nothing else, its function changed when the system got upgraded. Now, the system could also give him rewards like this. These rewards are the ones that his mother had stored in the system and he would be able to get them after fulling the requirements.

Axel lazily opened his status panel to see his improvement

"By the way, I want to congratulate you in completing the training. I didn't think that you would have completed it so fast. We still have more than a month for this routine. It took you more than 8 hours to complete it. I want you to complete it within 5 hours by the end of this training period. The remaining time would be allocated by trying out different types of weapons. I want you to make a decision on which weapon you want to focus on."

Lucifer gave a long speech on his training schedule. All of his stats had increased including magic. He didn't have to do anything to increase it. His mother was right. He had a natural talent for magic, but for some reason he never imagined himself to be a typical mage firing magic from a distance.

However, the most increase in his stats was stamina. It increased by a whopping 0.12 points!! However, it was in his expectation. All his workout routine involved stamina. He also realized that his health would increase by the increase of stamina and defense.

Lucifer was surprised. Although the training schedule was impossible for a normal 3-year-old child, he knew that Axel was not a normal kid. He was 'their' son, so he had made the training harder. However, Axel had exceeded his expectation.

No matter how tired Axel was, he would be up in running after a good sleep. Axel's body never ached the day after and the tenacity of Axel's hard work had made Lucifer to genuinely appreciate him.

Over the days, Axel had read the book that his mother had gifted him. He had come to know that his mother is a queen of a planet named Opheal. That means he was a prince. There were many mystical creatures on Opheal including dragons. Opheal was a magical world where people could use magic to do many miraculous things. There was a lot of information about the planet which made Axel surprised.

Like, there was only 1 king and queen on the planet. And even the gods have to respect them. Axel had not finished the book but he was eager to in the coming days.

After resting and eating, Lucifer summoned different types of weapons for Axel to try.

All of them were ordinary weapons. Axel started with Scythe as he thought that it looked cool.

After 15 days,

Axel had tried many weapons, from swords, spears, scythes, daggers, javelins to hammers, bows, slings, sticks, axes, staff, whips, chains and ropes. However, he only felt comfortable using one of them.

"So, What do you choose?" Asked Lucifer.

Axel had already completed the training routine within 5 hours. Some of his stats have also increased. Now, he was ready, for what?… even he didn't know.

"I would like to choose a sword" Axel replied after careful consideration.

"What type?" asked Lucifer.

There are many types of swords. Single-handed, double-handed, Short swords, Curved Swords, Axe like swords…. Many more.

"I would want a single-handed curved sword." Replied Axel. "Is that your final decision?" "Yes"

"Ok, then claim that reward"

[Reward: Weapon I]

Axel clicked the Reward option thinking about the sword he liked.

Immediately, a white sword was summoned on his open palm. The handle of the sword was black with some cravings. The sword was slightly bent at the edge. The edge was shining from the sunlight signifying its sharpness. Axel immediately used Gauge on it to know its description.
