Qin Shou tilted his head, looking at Master Lu.
Master Lu said, "Heaven and earth are not benevolent; they regard all beings as straw dogs. In the face of the great path of heaven and earth, humans and all living beings are no different. Humans can kill countless chickens and ducks, exterminate a whole species just to fill their bellies or gain wealth without it being considered a sin; then naturally, others killing people or destroying cities is also not a sin. What the common folk call sin is merely defined by people themselves and not by the Heavenly Dao.
In the eyes of the Heavenly Dao, these acts are nothing out of the ordinary. If there is a Heavenly Dao, survival of the fittest might just be one of its principles."
Qin Shou exclaimed in surprise, "Master, if you were to say this out loud, you could easily get beaten to death."
