Cursing her system administrator in her head, Lee tried to focus on the situation at hand. Stephan and her were riding back from the cafe. They'd discuss things more in private at his home. Before she slipped into his car, Hana ogled at and let out a small whistle.
"A sports car?"
He grins at her fascination.
He stands tall and straight, listing off one by one the car's features. While he did, Hana smiled the whole time. Stephan, this boy didn't change at all since they were children. At the time then, she knew him by the name Tae-Hyung, his birth name before he went to the United States to study. Being the son of a rich family, he had a lot of responsibilities and found solace in cars.
To know that he was still crazy about them made her heart swell.
"Oppa, how's life going lately?" She says this with a soft, timid voice. Stephan just sighs, tapping his finger on his steering wheel as he drove.
"Same old, same old."
Hana scrunched up her chubby face, flicking the side of his temple.
"Ya, bullshit. When did you get so famous?"
"I might have starred in a drama or two. It's no big deal."
She clicks her tongue, deciding further to not question him.
"What about you? Even before what happened, you were almost impossible to find. What the deal?" Stephan's voice has an edge
"I've got a life, you know. I don't to be--"
"Be what?"
With her lips set a harsh line, she answers him.
"Being the third wheel."
