[ White Fate Scenario: * Join the Imperial Martial Arts Tournament and Win * ]
[ Black Fate Scenario: * Kill the First Prince, Li Guangmao * ]
Absently, Yinan contemplates between his White and Black Fate Scenarios.
Over his lifetimes he's grown to realize that it doesn't really matter which path he takes; either or will fulfill the means to an end. It seems that whether he chooses the black or the white path, doesn't directly affect his relationship with his beloved, nor does it directly correlate with his beloved's quality of life.
Thus, it makes the decision pretty benign in Yinan's eyes. Technically, he can get away with anything; it does not matter if he chooses the path of the hero, or that of the villain.
It's inconsequential.
He doesn't care.
He feels as though he cares about nothing.
