Dante V4s Gift

The Golden Duck is also well known due to it's incredibly tough feathers. They can even withstand an attack from someone a small realm or two above them. So that leads to duck egg feathers being incredibly valuable as they can be made into Armor.

Of course the living duck within the egg has already become a puppet of Dante V4, and he wanted it to monitor and protect Caroline.

''Drop some blood onto here. I will help you with forming a blood pact.'' After explaining the details of the pet, Dante V4 wanted her to form a pact with the Golden Duck.

Of course it wasn't a real pact, it was really a facade so Dante can allow the Golden Duck to listen to Caroline without it seeming suspicious.

While Blood Pacts do exist they have negative benefits towards the caster. They connect the life of the caster and the pet, although ensuring trust in the relationship is not worth the risk for Dante V4.

Caroline stretched out a soft finger and stabbed her nail into it causing a few single drops of blood to fall out and onto the golden shell of the egg.

Dante V4 stretched out his palm forming a floating pattern, emitting a flash of light before it died down slowly. Obviously it was just Dantes power flashing but Caroline didn't know that.

Dante V4s hand reached out and pressed against Caroline's hand dying a golden tattoo which sunk into her skin. She felt a powerful force radiating in her body before it quickly disappeared.

Of course Caroline didn't know that it was just a facade caused by Marcus. But she was distracted by the shaking egg with cracks now running down the side.

A golden duck head popped out with shining blue eyes, its feathered shivered cutting open the rest of the egg revealing a fluffy golden body. It stepped out and took a bite off its golden egg.

Each bite increased its body size slightly until it let out a little burp after reaching the size of a dog. As soon as it finished eating it felt an order in it's mind as it ran towards Caroline and rubbed his head against her slender legs.

Naturally Caroline was incredibly happy to receive such a pet. She had already heard about the reputation of the pet and when she learnt it could become an Ancient she was extremely excited.

She was obsessed with strength, and this pet was the exact thing she was looking for. Of course she was most thankful that Dante V4 didn't request anything from her in return.

And just like that the two spent hours talking before Dante V4 or Marcus, returned her to a newly built villa he arranged for her.

Meanwhile Dante himself had been meeting up with Dante V2. Over these ten years the relationship between Dante V2 and Mia had improved constantly. He had provided her with the best facilities and best experiences ever.

But Dante felt it was finally time to pull in the trap allowing Dante V2 to take action elsewhere. Of course there was naturally the other reason that he needed the Aura of Heaven to help improve his Puppets.

There are hundreds of thousands of Spirit States within all 6 planes connected to his world tree. Even if one percent can improve with the help of the Aura of Heaven that is still immediately a thousand Ancients!

Soon Dante arrived at a large waterfall, this was also called the holy fountain by nearby inhabitants. In fact it is just a slightly spiritual waterfall only capable of extending the life of mortals a dozen more years.

But it is truly a beautiful sight with cascading glittering water falling off of silver stones. Beasts could be seen jumping around and birds flying through the sky.

Sat on the top of a large mountain overlooking the waterfall was a large villa. Occasionally you could see powerful servants bustling around carrying various objects, even strong butlers walking around carrying horse like beasts.

Recently the young madam of the villa Mia had taken a liking to beast riding. And naturally the servants abided by her whims and collected hundreds of beasts capable of being ridden.

They even scoured many counties finding the most talented riders to train Mia. Of course a powerful cultivator wouldn't have to train in order to ride the beasts. But in Mias years of wasting time, her cultivation had stagnated at the peak of Core Building and had yet to be improved.

San on the other hand had successfully reached the Spirit State, but it wasn't enough in Dante's eyes. Rather he was quite a nuisance for Dante. He had interrupted Dante V2s actions quite often.

Over the years Dante realised the value of Sons and daughters of luck was more than simply increasing his puppets cultivation.

Even the children born from the women would have a lot of luck and even powerful talents. But men on the other hand, unless they were like Hamilton, have little value.

San himself would provide a large income immediately but in Dante's opinion it was not worth letting him marry Mia. Rather he would make him into a puppet and allow him to take his own path.

Of course it wouldn't be ordinary, but it wouldn't be as flashy as Mias or Hamiltons.

As for Mia, she was going to become a test for Dante. She will be the official first member of Dante's puppet clones harem that Dante wants to create. Dante is already well into the age of being capable of having children.

On the continent it is common for cultivators to have children at a young age, solely because it gets harder and harder to have children the stronger you are. Take Dantes father as an example.

He missed the key point for having children meaning he was well into the Antique State before he finally had Dante and his sister after having thousands of concubines.

The difficulty is obvious but the continuation of the Family wasn't Dantes main goal. None of the children his puppets have will be known to the family at all. Only his children will be qualified to become the actual heirs.
