"Missed me?"
Katrina stared at Aevahn who was standing there with a shit-eating grin on his face. Her expression didn't change even after knowing who he was. It was still the same cold mask but her eyes were different. It had glinted for a sharp second and then it was gone before anyone could notice.
"No," was her flat response, void of emotions.
Aevahn chuckled upon hearing how unenthusiastic she sounded.
"You didn't even hesitate."
"Why would I? I'm even more annoyed to see your face than anything," she remarked.
She had dropped the troublesome woman she was dragging behind her at this point. She wasn't really worried that she would wake up and try to flee because she can't. Katrina made sure of that.
"You're still the same huh. I'm glad…" Aevahn muttered, a gentle look on his face.
Katrina frowned.
"What do you want?"
