A Package
As soon as both Eris and I reached the topmost floor, which was my office, Beth got out of her booth to greet me. She was also holding a brown box in her hand which caught my attention.
"Miss Wynter, there was also a package addressed to you," then she handed me the box.
It was big enough to store things but I was not expecting anything for me today, so I looked at it in puzzlement.
"From whom did this come from?" I asked as I held it in my hand, looking at it in suspicion. My brows furrowed as I tried to think if I had forgotten something about receiving a package, but I can't remember anything at all.
"The receptionist sent this one up this morning, she said that the courier told her it came from someone named Elle Escalante," she answered worriedly when she saw me frowning.
After hearing that familiar name though, I immediately perked up.
'From Elle? Oh, that woman! I have not reached her at all for 2 months already! I wonder how she is?'
