Chapter 11 From Shock to Panic in the Blink of an Eye

The muscular man was stunned for a few seconds before he winked ambiguously at Ning Xia, "Babe, so you're into this kind of heavy taste, huh?"

...Heavy taste, my ass!

With a loud "bang," a bullet hit near the muscular man's feet. Ning Xia's body shivered involuntarily while the muscular man's pupils suddenly constricted, shifting from shock to panic in the blink of an eye.

His legs gave out, and he knelt to the ground, "Spare me, spare me, don't kill me!"

What kind of background did this guest of hers have to provoke military people!

The soldiers surrounding them suddenly spread out to both sides, forming an aisle in the middle. A tall and handsome figure entered with steady and forceful steps.

Still in that crisp military uniform, the black boots shone brightly under the light, bristling with hidden sharpness. His beautiful face was expressionless, but the look he gave Ning Xia was as cold and piercing as if he were looking at a dead person.

Ning Xia felt a chill down her spine, and "crap" was the only word on her mind!

How could it be that before she even got started today, Little Overlord had brought people to catch them "in the act"?

Her dark eyes whirled around as she rapidly considered the likelihood of her escaping through the ranks of soldiers.

But then, Bo Siyan's next move interrupted all her thoughts.

He stepped forward, and Ning Xia only felt a shadow loom over her, followed by something hard and cold pressing directly against her forehead!

"Woman, how dare you let me wear a green hat?" A voice of extreme danger emanated from above her head!

Looking at the small pistol on her forehead, Ning Xia's breathing halted for a second before she blurted out without thinking, "Mr. Bo, please give me ten seconds to explain without interference!"

Bo Siyan, however, surprisingly showed a rare kindness, as if wanting to see her struggle desperately. His dark eyes gazed at her, his lips curling coldly, "Speak."

That look in his eyes was as if one wrong word from her would make her head "blossom"!

Actually, Ning Xia hadn't thought of any excuse yet, but in moments of extreme urgency, a person's potential is limitless. She shivered as she stared at the gun on her forehead, and then inspiration struck. She had it!

She licked her trembling lips and said loudly, "Mr. Bo, this is actually just a drill!"

"A drill?"

He thought she would burst into tears, admit her mistakes, and beg for mercy; he hadn't expected her to come up with such an excuse.

"Yes, yes, yes!" Ning Xia nodded repeatedly, saying with utmost sincerity, "Mr. Bo, isn't our engagement just around the corner? But I have never been in a relationship and don't know how to interact with men. That's why I found him to practice a bit, so I can make you happy at the time."

"Of course, I would never do anything to betray you, it's just a good sisterhood thing!"

After she finished, Ning Xia wanted to applaud herself. She was a genius to come up with such an explanation!

Bo Siyan raised an eyebrow.

"It means GAY, he only likes men, not women!" Ning Xia explained.

"How do you prove that?"

"Uh..."

A murderous look flashed at the bottom of Bo Siyan's eyes, and the corner of his mouth curled into a cruel arc. He parted his lips and issued a direct order, "Take him down and let him prove it."

Watching the soldiers carry the muscular man away like a little chicken, she couldn't help but tear up for him in silence!

The soldiers filed out, leaving only Bo Siyan and Ning Xia in the room, which suddenly became so quiet it was a bit eerie.
