Friends! And New Bonds

"Come on, man. Toughened it up. You're not this coward, are you? You're the second smartest and brave man I onow." Qian Mo Cao punch his friend in the shoulder.

"Might as well, you know...be an elder brother for her. Though, you're not really related by blood. You're surname became Min when Mr. Min adopted you. You're younger sister will probably do something so smooth out her relationship to her elder sister. And now, that I have mention it. Min Ju is currently an 11th grade. After graduating 10th, she didn't tried to enroll and instead focus herself to working." Qian Mo Cao grab a lengthy paper in his bag. Unfolding Min Ju's record he had found. He found out she was brilliant, down to earth, heartwarming and very optimistic sometimes. He cannot help but be admired.

Suddenly, he felt a smack in the head. He turn around to see Qing Wu Yao narrowing his eyes at him.

Damn, I forgot.

"Dude, it was a simple crush. I won't steal her away from you." He said rubbing the back of his head.

"She's not my property. She's not mine. Why are you scared on stealing her away from me?" Qing Wu Yao smiled brilliantly.

"Then, why are you looking at me like a hawk you scary dude!"

This guy is in the military intelligence and the smartest guy her ever known in his whole being! They said if you mingle with smart people, you'll get smart. But why am I feeling that I'm becoming dumb as the days go by? Tch.

"You said she's smart. Is she smarter than me and Min Junlin?" Qing Wu Yao taps the desk with his finger waiting for an answer. Qian Mo Cao felt like he saw their background turn a shades of darker red.

"I suppose so?"

"Wrong answer!"

"You'll buying us lunch later!" Min Junlin exclaim when Qing Wu Yao muttered two words coming from his mouth.

"Damn! What if I'm right that she's smarter than the two of you?! Why would I get then?!"

"My card." Qing Wu Yao throw his bet off the hook. His blackcard and he can spend it all he wants!

Qian Mo Cao, claps his hand! "Great! We'll let her answer our college exam at our exam day. And if she get a higher score than the two of you, I'll make it so that you're card won't be return to you!"

"Sure." Qing Wu Yao and Min Junlin grins. "And when she's not. You better be our slaves for a month."

"Dude...you're so cruel..." Qian Mo Cao hold his chest dramatically. "My heart is in pain!" He screamed.

Now back to Min Ju's side. The four of them didn't attend the orientation in the auditorium. Instead, they group themselves up in the garden. The three youth admired the surrounding while Qin Wuxie just smiled about their excited faces.

She's been here since she was in on 7th Grade, it does not surprise her anymore.

It was such a pity that the possibility of Min Ju being her classmate is zero. She's already a freshman college while Min Ju would be entering 11th Grade.

"Min Ju and I are classmates. Unfortunately, Su Mei is also with us." Lin Zhu frowned.

"Should I go and demote myself to 11th grade?" He Rue suggested.

"Why would you? He Rue, don't. It was my fault that I did not enroll for senior high school in the past after graduating 10th grade. What's a little Su Mei when I'm the bigger Min Ju?" Min Ju laughed. She really regretted it not going to senior high school. She was supposed a first year college with her friends. Now, she was stuck in 11th grade with that insufferable Su Mei.

"Although she's older than me by two years, as a man I can protect Min Ju. Don't worry about her, He Rue. I'll always watch her back!" Lin Zhu swore to his heart. Conviction written all over his face.

"You better be."

"Hey, don't treat me like I'm a child. But thanks by the way. That was really sweet of you, Lin Zhu."

Lin Zhu turns bright red.

"No problem. I am your friend and as a friend we have each other's back. You're also my responsibility, you know? Grandfather Fu and Old Man Xiao ordered me to protect you. I need to make them proud." He pats his chest and laughed.

Min Ju reach a hand to the center and like looked at the three of them. "So?" Altogether they He Rue, Qin Wuxie and Lin Zhu put their hands toget her and said, "Friends!" as they raises their hands in the air.

"And whatever the future holds, our bond is stronger that any challenges we will take."

And as the future holds, this bond will forever remain stronger.
